Hi everyone

My name is Lyndsey and I live in Edinburgh which is the capital of Scotland in the U.K.

I have been engaged for 10 years, have two beautiful children and we are finally getting married in May 2009

I have loads of questions which I will ask in time, but for now my question is
Can I view videos of weddings in the Wedding Pavilion that have been done by Disney videographers??

Welcome Lyndsey! I know there are sample videos of Disney wedding pavillion weddings on the STVS site??? I don't know the website...but look through some of the threads here for video posts and it will be on one of those! GL!

To all UK brides - Has anyone booked their wedding through Virgin holidays?

If yes - Do you know if you can have over 18 guests? I have ordered their brochure but I'm still waiting for it to arrive and the only info I can find online is about 18 guests or less.

To anyone who had their reception at UK lower Terrace - What time does your reception have to finish? can you have music entertainment there?

I'm afraid Virgin can only arrange an Escape wedding which has a maximum guest count of 18. If you need more than that, you have to go direct with Disney and have a Wishes wedding.

I am a UK Disney wife now. I got married back in May this year.

I booked my wedding through Disney themselves, I investigated Virgin but disneywedding.com was better for me as I could see what options to have and more direct contact.

We booked our holiday through Viring but our wedding is going to be booked through disney themselves as we have over 18 guests

I'm still unsure as to how many people will be coming to florida with us for the wedding - it could be anywhere between 18 and 30.
To be honest it would be better with only 18 because although we want to use the wedding pavilion we want to have our evening reception in paradisecove orlando - google it, its lovely

and with more than 18 guests I think I would have to throw out that venue and use somewhere in disney, also with 30 guests I think I have to guarantee 25 room nights (don't know how we would manage that as we want to stay in a couple of big villas ???????????

I am going to give everyone who mentioned that they would like to come with us a January 08 limit on a definate answer as we need to book the holiday part of the wedding to give evryone time to save up and pay. Also we and are going to disney in 08 to look at the venues and vendors etc.... and I would like to start booking things at that time.

I'm sure we will sort something out - Its early days yet

- we are getting married next Feb on our Disney cruise.... on Valentines Day (just a happy cooincidence - that's the day when they do the service ).
