callums just got back and went to check on her to find we have three new additions :scared1:

Lol when I read the title I thought Callu had been up to something he shouldn't have! :lmao:

Congrats on the hamster babies :yay:

:rotfl2: i was wondering if there was something Ellie hadn't told me !!

Congratulations on the new arrivals !

OMG, hon! You probably know this already, but you'll need to separate them pretty quickly, or you'll soon be over-run with them (and I say that from a position of experience! :rotfl: ). I'm not sure at what age they're weaned, but I know they can reproduce as young as one month old. :scared1:

Oh wow! Congratulations on the birth of the triplets!!!

Weren't there any signs? Morning sickness? Moodyness? Eating funny foods?:lmao:

Ooooh, How lovely,Are you going to keep them or get them rehomed? :)

I was going to say the same thing:rotfl:It will be noisy in your house if they are anything like my hamster at night all it does is gnaw at the bars

oh my goodness what a surprise, congrats are you going to keep them?

:rotfl2: its ok Nat I think we're safe for a couple of years there. mind you, it'd probably be named ging gang gooley or tal-y-bont!
been looking on tinternet for advice, apparently we're not to touch them for two weeks, so looking forward to a nice smelly cage. they wean after about three weeks so i'll be looking for new homes for them then, that is if they survive, mummy hamster isn't very old herself so its common for them to be cannibalised apparently - yuck!

no emily, hadn't noticed any funny habits I must admit, although a diet of what looks like bran flakes and peanuts would have been enough to alert most people.
hadn't thought to ask at time of purchase is i should have whipped it up on the couch and get its feet into stirrups but at least I'll know next time

Congrats!! Do we get any pictures of the new family members?

well they look rather like the third pic along in your baby countdown, so no, would be the answer :rotfl2:

congratulations grandma, triplets as well, are they gross looking ?

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: you would have thought that the pet shop would have been a bit more careful in seperating them. shame you don't live closer i know a little boy who would love to take them off your hands though his mum wouldn't be pleased.

Carol, if the hamster belonged to Callum and it had babies, does that not make you a Great -Grandmother ;)

ok, ok, I was just hoping to sound younger than I am!!:rotfl:

Lets hope the triplets dont start having babies before you manage to seperate them or that would make you sound a really old ......Great-great grandma!!
