We have one day planned to go to Epcot. Right now I have Via Napoli booked for lunch and Rose and Crown for dinner at 7:30. The thought was to stay for Illuminations. We've seen Illuminations before and enjoy it, but we've never been to Jellyrolls so I have no idea what to expect. I've heard it's great!

Would you skip Illuminations/Rose & Crown and eat at someplace over at the Boardwalk like Trattoria al Forno and go earlier to Jellyrolls to be sure to get a seat for the evening, OR would you head over there after Illuminations and take your chances??? (I'm going on a Friday night in July if that matters in your advice..)

I've always done illuminations then walked over To jelly rolls. Many nights on multiple trips in many different months. We would watch it closer to the bridge to get a good start on leaving the park

That's a great suggestion! Thanks so much.... Do you think we should get an ADR a bit earlier then?? There were plenty, so that wouldn't be an issue.

I don't think 730 would be the worst time. I guess a 7pm may be a bit better? Worst case scenario you could make sure you are paid up with your server even if you are still finishing up eating/ watching the fireworks. That way you could just walk out when you are done so you wouldn't have to wait in anyone else
