Can you see Illuminations from the Boardwalk?

Also, what type of entertainment is available at the Boardwalk on a Saturday evening in September? Are there schedules posted anywhere?

I haven't ever been able to see the illumintions from BW....

I've heard they have cut way back on Boardwalk entertainment to save $$. Is that true? We will be staying at the BWV for the first time this Sept. and will be disappointed if there's nothing going on there, after all the advertising Disney does for it.

If you walk over to the bridge past ESPN where the boats go under you can get a decent view of the fireworks.
