Illuminations FP - where ?

Hi, I have looked at the maps Robo provided but cannot seems to locate where the FP location is for Illumantions. Does anyone know where it is located? Thanks

IllumiNations Dessert Party and IllumiNations FP+
areas are near the "Twin Gift Shops" at the entrance from Future World.
(Around #13 & #14.)

It can get a little bit crowded, but not as crowded as area outside the FP section.

VERY few tables offer a true view
and only R&C have a viewing area you can stand in should your table be inside or without view ..
... and lots of folks are trying for those same few tables.

Odds of someone giving up their seat an hour before are not good ..... you got lucky.

I would never try this unless:
(1) I'd be okay with no view or obstructed from my table.
(2) I have buffered enough time for eating & getting outside if the table is not good.
(3) It would be a perk but I really don't care about seeing it.

We have used the FP+ but do not believe it is necessary for a good view. If you use the FP+ and are not on the front row/rail we suggest going to the back of the area because it goes uphill and therefore you can easily see over everyone.

Other than that we feel our favorite places to view are Norway, Germany, Italy, UK and Canada.

Honestly, I don't think you need to waste a FP for Illuminations. There are so many great locations to watch the show from around the promenade to watch the show. The bridge between UK and France is great. Also, there is the area between Norway and Mexico. The point is you can watch it anywhere and have a great view. You just need to pay attention to the wind. I have a few locations that are highly dependent on what way the wind is blowing. Usually, the wind is out of the SE or SW. I don't like the FP location because it is on the north side of the lagoon, so the smoke could be blown in your direction.
