Hello....
The Search function is down so I can't search to find the answer..

I know I have read on here somewhere that you can have a party in Epcot to watch Illuminations and have dessert for a group of say 20 or so (not really sure)

Can someone send me in the right direction to read up on this?

Im going at the end of November and would love to book something like this to share with other Disers since it is just me and my mom going we would have plenty of room for others!!

Thanks in advance for any help!!

That isn't what I was thinking, although that could be it....I thought it was just Dessert with a view of the fireworks.

If anyone else knows anything different with just desserts please let me know, I would like to find something a little less expensive so that it is easier to get more people involved.

Thank you so much for your post....im going to look into that too.

I always try to surprise mom with something everytime we go.

The first time was the Illuminations cruise and also dinner at the California Grill, and last time it was a carriage ride in Fort Wilderness.

Stacey,

I just had an Illuminations private event as part of my Disney World wedding. It was wonderful! I have lots of info on these events, so just let me know your email address, and I can send you info like menus and pricing. My email address is ilovedisneyworld@hotmail.com. :)

Ok...so I called Disney to ask about this, after being transfered for an hour (lol) I found someone that kinda knew what i was talking about...she told me that I would have to speak to the Sales Dept since they usually only have groups from Conventions have these parties...I really thought that anyone could book it as long as they have a certain amount of people for the party....

Anyway, she transfered me to the sales dept and they were closed...lol so I will call back tomorrow and get the full details and will post them here....wish me luck!!

Also, Ead79, I emailed you and look forward to any info you can give me!

Thanks all

Ok,
The search was working this morning so I found a thread pertaining to the Dessert Party:

Here are the details:

For the Child in You:
Florida Lemon Bars, Double Chocolate Brownies
White Chocolate Chip with Macadamia Nut Cookies and Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Chewy Rice Crispy Treats and Chocolate Marshmallow Squares
Coffee, Decaffeinated Coffee, Hot Tea and Lemonade

$17.50 PP++
(1 Hour, 20 Person Minimum)

Old World Classics in Miniature:
Pastries in Miniature to include:
Chocolate and Pistachio Cannoli
Fresh Fruit Tartlet, Vanilla Cream Filled Pastry Horns
Chocolate Eclairs, Orange Marmalade Roulade
Italian Style Ricotta Cheesecake, Chocolate Pecan Pies
Coffee, Decaffeinated Coffee, Hot Tea and Lemonade

$22.50 PP++
(1 Hour, 20 Person Minimum)

plus 20% service
charge and 6% tax
You must have 1 host/hostess per 50 people at $90.

I heard back from Ead and she had about the same info....so Ead, I guess it is exactly the same as what you told me...
It looks like it comes out to somewhere around 32.00 PP, that is what they were charging on the other thread.
Also they said under 3 is free, but the price is PP so if you have a 4 year old, it is the same price as an adult.

I wonder if this would be something that would work here on the DIS.....
If anyone is reading this and going at some point from November 26th to Dec 4th...Let me know if this would be something you are interested in attending....

Thanks!!
