I did not realize the California Grill was $$$ but I have a reservation so I guess I will have to pay the tab.

Keith,

I think you will enjoy the CG and have a very nice dinner. It isn't Victoria & Albert's (and doesn't carry the price either), but it will be a good dinner, and the view is outstanding. Capping off the evening with the Wishes cruise with goodies should leave you with some outstanding memories!

Hey I have a friend visiting this month and I just found this board. I thought this would be fun to surprise her with a cruise to see Illuminations.

Does anyone have space for 2 or 3 (my 22yo daughter would like to go too) on July 25,25,29, or 30??

Thanks

I hope so - it will be our Christmas Dinner + cruise. My youngest has an appointment to be made up as a princess before dinner - and in our family we all live to please the youngest.

Hi - we have space for one more person on an illuminations cruise. It's Sunday, Sept 9th leaving from Yacht/Beach Club at 8pm. The price is $32.50. If you're interested, let me know. :wizard:

Hey All ,

My mom booked a cruise for our family vacation in August . Last time we did the cruise staying at Boardwalk they picked us up and dropped us off there. My mom says they told her that we had to get the cruise at YC/BC , does anyone know if they just do not pick up at Boardwalk anymore ? Has anyone got any recent first hand knowledge , I would appreciate it.

I couldn't find any info here on the Dis , but DebWills site says it does the Boardwalk still .

Thanks Everyone :hippie:

We are a family of 7 from Scotland and have space for 3 more. There is me, DH, DD10, DD8, my mum, my dad and my sister. My mum, dad and sister are first timers to WDW and this is my sisters first visit to the USA! :woohoo: We would love to share our cruise and culture with an American family / couple. (Hope that does not sound too deep and meaningful, LOL!) We are hoping to have a fun night! :goodvibes

Wishes Cruise on 1st October. The cost of the cruise will be $32.50 per person. Please PM me if you are interested. :goodvibes

Thanks for all the interest - we have now found a family to share with. :goodvibes

In the past, we did many cruises where we were picked up at the Boardwalk. They have now changed it to mandatory pick up at Beach Club. There is an area where you pay for the cruise and then they fit the kids with life jackets. However, we have asked on our last 2 cruises to be dropped off at the Boardwalk, and they always were happy to drop us off there.

Mid-June I scheduled a cruise for Sept. We had reservations at BWV and CM said it was no problem to pick us up at the Boardwalk. Last week we changed to BCV and phoned to switch pickup place. Wonder why original CM didn't know Boardwalk was no longer an option. Perhaps she was new.

All pick ups must be at Bayside Marina, Disney's Yacht Club Resort. This is the only location that has an open cash register and life jackets for those guests 12 and under. In the past one boat was dispatched from BoardWalk, but that boat was moved permanently to the Yacht Club two years ago.
It is much more convenient for all parties to dispatch from one location, and what's the difference, it's a single Friendship Boat ride across Crescent Lake.
As far as drop off after IllumiNations, the driver can drop guests off at any open dock, that includes Epcot's International Gateway, BoardWalk, Swan & Dolphin, MGM Studios or The Yacht & Beach Club.

Hiya everyone! I was able to secure an Illuminations cruise for this September. (I don't know if I will have spaces to share yet, but I will let you all know once I have that figured out!) My question is, what is the best way to get to the marina. We are spending the day at Epcot and will have our car parked there, should we just move it over to the Yacht Club before the cruise?

Thanks, Nickymouse and Crazy Hakim!! If I hadn't moved to BC, I probably would have been waiting at the wrong dock :scared1:

I would love to share a cruise if anyone is looking to fill up the boat!
We are a party of 3, and would be able to share on the following dates:
aug 29th
sep 2nd
sep 4th
sep 7th
If anyone is 'cruising' on these dates and needs to bump up the numbers, please let me know :goodvibes:

Traci, Look on page 104, first post. Someone has a Wishes cruise for Sept. 4 from the Contemporary. I am on that boat with them. I think they have 3 spaces left.

Thanks for the information regarding cruise pick up and drop off.
We'll just have to finish dinner at Flying Fish a little early:-)

I would think you'd want to park at YC since you may not be able to get back into EPCOT to walk up to the front to get your car back.

Hi All,

We are looking for 4 places on a cruise any date between 15 and 27 July 07. We are 2 adults, DS 7 and DD 4 and from The UK.

Thanks,
Paul

I booked Wishes cruise for Aug 29th. I need 5 more to join me and my family. We are me, dd(16), and ds(3). If you are interested please PM me. This is the boat that sits 8 and I was told they do not pipe in the music for this one. If one of the boats that seats 10 with sound comes available we can upgrade.

Hi Everyone

My DH and I will be in WDW in September to celebrate by 40th birthday and would love to do the Illuminations cruise if anyone has room for 2. Any day between 4th to 13th would be great.

Thanks very much
