Illuminations after dinner at Akershus?

We have an ADR at Akershus at 8:10pm and illuminations starts at 9. What are the chances we'll be done in time to see illuminations? Is there a good spot to watch close by Akershus? I'm trying to get an earlier ADR, but for now this is what we have. Thanks!

I think you'd be very hard pressed to finish in time to make it out to see IllumiNations. The average in-park TS meal takes about 60 to 75 minutes. You could probably try to cram it into 45 minutes, but you might miss out on some of the characters and you would have to rush through the food. This all assumes you'll be seated on time, which isn't necessarily the case. Anywhere around World Showcase Lagoon where you can see the center of the lagoon will offer a good view of IllumiNations, but by the time you finish with Akershus all the "best" spots (i.e., front) will likely be filled.
