For how WDW resolved my issue, please see this post of mine on this thread

Because the day before I fly out for my trip they are suddenly all missing. On the phone now w/ them. To be honest, I don't know what they are going to do for me.

I called a couple of days ago to discuss the cost of changing my trip dates, and the CM went offline w/ me for 15 minutes and changed the dates in the system even though I didn't want it changed... I was just asking what was the cost/policy since I was not too familiar with the cost & impact of changes. They had to 'undo' the change, and I fear that her error dropped all my FP+ reservations.

Any suggestions besides what I am doing?

So you hate it because the system had a glitch or a cast member made a technical error, sounds logical.

Call the Fast Pass Plus / My Disney Experience customer service, and explain your situation they should be able to help you through the trouble.

No, but I hope they make it right for you. :goodvibes

I'm having trouble reading your tone, but if you're serious then I agree--that's logical.

I think a system prone to glitches and poorly trained CMs is a fine reason to dislike FP+. MDE is a mess and I'm amazed that a company of Disney's size and caliber can't design more reliable IT systems.

Past threads on this have shown that all they will do is help you make new FP....and for things like SDMT that are booked up they shrug their shoulders and say "sorry".....going up two levels of "Supervisors" didn't help it any.

It seems like they must have some record of what was made and when, and therefore also what was changed, deleted, etc......so they certainly should be able to see that everything disappeared in one day. I know they need some protection against people lying just to get hard to find FP, but things like this and other threads have been CM error, yet all the hard work and planning of the guest is gone and they don't seem to care enough to try to make it right (verified of course).

OP I hope that you are able to get back some of your FP and that you enjoy your trip regardless of this glitchiness.

I'm not sure of suggestion, but we had a similar problem this morning.

We had originally had FP for A&E, Festival of Fantasy Parade, and 7DMTwhen we went to bed last night and when we woke up we had been given Pirates, Space mountain and wishes! (we check every morning for ADRs we want)

I spent almost 2 hours getting back 7DMT and FoF but we couldn't get A&E back, so we have to 'check back daily' or speak to guest relations when we get in the park!

The CM we spoke to said there was some kind of update or maintenance last night because we also lost all of DHs annual pass info off of MDE and needed to make sure nothing had happened.

They designed a system that is reliant on a computer system and CM interactions to fix any problems.

Then the OP experienced glitches and poorly trained CMs.

Yeah, definitely sounds fair to say they don't like FP+ at this point.

In other breaking news, I was unable to enter the Disney Flipside sweepstakes this morning because the site was acting up. Shocking, I know.

I would be upset if my vacation plans were ruined because of a system error or someone elses error for sure :headache:

Of course it is logical. Especially when one compares the new system to the old. Had the OP encountered the same CM error under FP-, how many FPs would they have lost? I'm thinking of a round number: 0

0<3, so, glitches under the old system would have been less impactful. Seems logical to me.

If I were in the OP's situation I would be livid. A screwed up room reservation can almost always be fixed.

But, if I lost all my FP+ ride reservations and got stuck with nothing but "B" list rides and a vacation full of standby lines I'm pretty sure FP+ would be on my ****list!!!

When I was at Disney In November my young daughter was side checked by another park visitor when getting on Prince Charming's Carousel and her foot and shoe got caught on a metal stopper of some sort for the gate that opens.

We were first in line and apparently some women was set on getting a certain horse and decided to push my daughter against the railing.

There is a point to this.... She was crying and the lady was long gone and the CM who was a very nice young man felt bad for my daughter. He said to her "do you like Anna and Elsa" she of course loves them. He said "the wait to see them is usually huge" (the current wait was very long) he signaled over to a woman at Anna and Elsa and told us to go over to the CM at Anna and Elsa and we could go directly in to see them and then to come back and he would let us back on the carousel at the front on the line.

So besides the awesome CM experience that proves that such days are not gone, they had the ability to put us right in there despite the huge stand bye line.

I do not understand why when there is an obvious glitch or human error that they can not get a person back into the fast pass they had when they have the ability to on the fly get us into the most sought after attraction with a wave of the hand?

Either....

1.) Once the passes are gone there is no way to retrieve the information of what Fast Passes people actually had,

2.) People try to pull this scam quite often in order to get fast passes that they were not able to secure in the first place,

3) the number of people who get fast passes wiped out happens so frequently and the numbers are so huge they really can not always help people back into the previous selections.

4.) or combination of these.

It is just crazy to think that there is no way to get these people back the fast passes that are inadvertently lost.

I personally always triple check with the CM if I am inquiring anything about our reservation that they are not changing anything. It is stressful when there is so much planning that goes into the trip.

This is a scary thought!

yep lets blame FP+ for a CM changing your dates which would void the fastpass+ selections you made.

if you have not been to a park and used FP+ then you really cannot judge it.

i've used FP+ twice now and i had no problem during the selection process or during the use process.

are there things i don't like about it? sure but the good outweighs the bad from my personal experiences.

as a PP suggested call the number for FP+ assistance.
who knows perhaps there "back of house" computer system still shows your selections even though your "front of house" computer does not.

otherwise i'd go on MDE and see what FP+ is available.
this is a slower time of year so perhaps you'll luck out and still get what you want.

I think the OP is already qualified to judge it.

I can think of a few THOUSAND reasons I have a right to be concerned... :)

Thanks for the support!

Still working it out with them. 1h 21 min on the phone so far.

Hang in there.

i was simply poi9nting out that not EVERYONE has problems with it.

While simultaneously dismissing the OP's experience. Quite the high bar your setting for it too.

We are season pass holders and go just about every month... The last two trips MDE and FP have been the most annoying/frustrating!!
