oh Hi!

I didn't see you there.

How are you?

My name is Christy and I'm 31 years old.

Been a Disney fan since I was 2. Why is that? Well my parents wanted to visit Walt Disney World and I went along for the ride.

We are frequent July visitors. Because of my job (as a teacher) it is the most sensible choice.

Here is this trip's info:

Dates: July 14 to 24

Disney's Contemporary Resort - Bay Lake View

9 days tickets

I am once again going with my parents who love Disney ALMOST as much as I do.

Are you ready for some planning?

Here we go!

:stir:

Yep we are fun!

I'll have to post the pic from our meet a few years ago ;)

Our ADR date is slowly coming: Jan 15

Here are our wants:

Be Our Guest - Dinner (We've done it once and liked it. Granted you pay for the décor more than for the quality of the food but the ambiance is great).

Le Cellier - Dinner (A tradition. Best filet mignon in the world!)

Chef Mickey's - Dinner (After all, we're staying at the CR. We've done it before. Not the best food but you get sick of the quick service kinda fast).

Crystal Palace - Breakfast (A tradition. I'm a huge breakfast at the restaurant person. So my parents humour me ;)

Tony's Townsquare - Lunch (A tradition. We always go on the day before we go back home. We love the food and this restaurant. I've heard mixed reviews of that place but it hits the spot for us).

Kona Café - Breakfast. (A first. We had a ressie before but ended up cancelling it.)

I think that's that for now ;)

I'm here! Took me a few tries.....been having internet problems for the past 3 days. I'm looking forward to your report and hoping to get some ideas from someone who is "seasoned". I've been 2 times but feel like I haven't even scratched the surface of all the things to see and do. I love reading about others' thoughts and plans!

Welcome!

I understand what you mean. And I hope I can be of help. If you have any questions, don't be shy! ;)

Be Our Guest - Dinner (We've done it once and liked it. Granted you pay for the décor more than for the quality of the food but the ambiance is great). We are hoping to try this for the first time this trip!

Le Cellier - Dinner (A tradition. Best filet mignon in the world!) We loved Le Cellier and I tried the filet mignon for the first time on our last trip. Unfortunately for us we had eaten at Yachtsman Steakhouse earlier in our trip and it was so much better. I still love Le Cellier, but we are going to Yachtsman again this trip!

Chef Mickey's - Dinner (After all, we're staying at the CR. We've done it before. Not the best food but you get sick of the quick service kinda fast). You are right about the food not being the best but sometimes it's just what you need. DD asked to do breakfast there on this trip, and so we are!

Crystal Palace - Breakfast (A tradition. I'm a huge breakfast at the restaurant person. So my parents humour me ;) I LOVE breakfast here, but we are staying away from too many buffets this trip so this one came off our list this trip.

Tony's Townsquare - Lunch (A tradition. We always go on the day before we go back home. We love the food and this restaurant. I've heard mixed reviews of that place but it hits the spot for us).I have tried to like this restaurant, but can't. I am half Italian and this just doesn't cut it after growing up with the real stuff all my life. But I know many people who do like it, so enjoy!

Kona Café - Breakfast. (A first. We had a ressie before but ended up cancelling it.)We are doing a breakfast here also this trip. My mom lives near WDW and this is her favorite place to eat no matter what meal. We haven't eaten here in a few trips and I am really looking forward to having this meal again. YUM!!!

I think that's that for now ;)

It sounds like some good food will be eaten on your trip! That is what half my vacation to Disney is all about!!! :lmao:

I forgot to add the Plaza to our list.

We've always gone for lunch, but we are looking into going to dinner on the day of our arrival.

So funny that you say that.

We don't really plan our vacation. The only things we plan are our meals and then go around that :lmao:

That is kinda like us. we plan our meals and the times and then we plan what attractions we want to go on and work around our ADR's. We space our air conditioning pretty evenly especially when we are there in August and now July.

We just commented on this time. My DH and I said that the planning of the meals is the most important thing to us after picking the hotel, then we do the attractions last. :rotfl2: but we have also been A LOT of times so at this point, we just do whatever we want in the parks. We try to get as much done, but we don't sweat it if we miss something.

You pin point our philosophy to a t ;)
