I was really lucky to get the 30%/35%/40% PIN that runs through June 12th back in December. It was the first time we've gotten a PIN code!

Well, we booked our trip with our PIN but I was hoping to get the one that runs through the end of the year, because we've been considering a quick trip late this year as well.

On the advice of many here, I went to the Disney site and saved a couple of different vacation scenarios for later this year. I just went through the regular package booking part, not with a code or promotion, plugged in some dates, picked a resort and saved them. This was just a few days ago.

Well, today I got it! The 20%/30%/40% PIN for most of the year! Yay! The subject line of the email was "Explore your Disney resort picks, ***** Family!". Of course, the email was from Disney Destinations but I almost missed the code! It was on the bottom right of the email, which was mostly just about that particular vacation scenario I saved. So check your emails from Disney Destinations thoroughly! It looked completely different from the Alice in Wonderland PIN email.

Good luck to those still trying! :thumbsup2

The exact same thing happened to me. We got the through June 12 in Oct (2 versions, one AP, the other not-same deal) We did book an early Feb trip. I have been deciding as to whether or not to get an AP in Feb. I was saving a few vacations on Sat and one of them was addressed in the email with the PIN I received today just the same as you! I guess they are trying hard to fill up the second half of the year!! I did check a mod and deluxe and the deluxe room was the referenced but I could pick as you state 20.30.40% off.

I got this exact email on Christmas Eve, my first pin ever and was so excited. It came to me shortly after saving a bunch of trips like others have mentioned. However, when I called to price out the trip with the discount, I was told they couldnt find anything attached to my name, it was not in the system etc and to give it a few hours and call back. So I called back, and same thing again. Waited until after the holidays, called again, read them the email verbatum and was told this wasnt a valid pin code. Needelss to say I wasnt happy and no one really seemed to care! So, a few days later I called yet again and got a more sympathetic CM, again read the email verbatum, again, they cannot find anything, nothing attached to my name, puts me on hold while she talks to a supervisor etc. FINALLY, she comes back and says it is not valid but she would still give me the said discount, BUT if I didnt book it then while on the phone with her then I would lose it. Needless to say, my first pin experience was not a good one. I did book only b/c I was afraid I would get nothing else and of course, since booking have received no more emails from disney at all. So, I hope you guys who received this pin have better luck than I did. Keep me posted on how it goes!!!

Thanks for posting this!! I remember getting an email that started like that on new years eve so I went back and looked!! And there is was. I got a PIN CODE!! I just called and they only have this rate available for 1 of my 5 nights but she did change the rate for me.

Kinda frustrates me that I called this morning and asked a CM if I has any codes attached to my name/address and she said NO. Tonight when I called and started to say that I got an email with a code the CM said "I see it in the computer". It had to have been there this morning cause I got the email on 12/31.

The CM that I just spoke with told me that I could use this code over and over again for this year (just not on the black out dates). Is this really true???? Kinda seems weird that I would have a code attached to my name for the whole year? It was the 20/30/40 off code.

Well, I had no problem using my PIN. I just booked 2 rooms the week after Thanksgiving and got the 30% off!! I was very happy to do so. We were wondering whether or not to get AP in Feb for my daughter well, now we will!! I was very surprised to see that the email PIN came just 2 days after saving a vacation and it was tied to that saved vacation since the vacation was in the email as well!! I just hope that we can get a standard room for the Feb stay in WL!! That would save quite a bit for our 2 rooms there.

The PIN did Work!! Too bad it wasn't like the one through june for 35% off the moderates. We just couldn't swing the deluxe again, but it was tempting!!

ADDED Odd thing, while I was typing this, the PIN again was sent!! They must really want bookings even though I had just booked about 20 minutes ago.

The same thing worked for me! I saved three different vacations (one for summer and two for fall) last night. This morning, I get the Disney Destinations email that has the pin code for most of the year. Thanks steph73 for telling where the pin code was at in the email. It would have been very easy to have missed and just deleted!

I got it too! Yay!!! Mine came on a trip I had saved for CSR for August, but there was that magical pin in lower right hand corner!

We are planning to go Halloween at WL now! WOOHOO!!!

Yay for you. However, I've done this w/ 2 of my email accounts (long story) and nothing yet. I even had a trip on hold and didn't pay the deposit so I lost it and nothing. Maybe I should call and check.

me too!!!! I did mine last week and got the pin last night. Does it matter when you use the pin, does it expire? It is good until the end of the year but I am waiting for FREE dining before I make my reservation.

If I were you , I would just make the reservation you want now to get the room/resort you want. All it takes is a one night deposit and it can be refunded up until 6 days prior to the reservation. We really wanted 2 standard rooms at the WL for the frist week of Feb, well, we could only get the Woods view for the 40% off back in Nov. The PIN went out mid Oct. I wish I would have booked right away. Anyway, by the time the AP discount higher discount came out, none were available either. Just what I would do. It can't hurt unless you don't want to put out the deposit. We did just reserve 2 rooms at CBR for the first week in Dec. I want to see the Christmas decorations again and what better way. I really don't care much about the free dining (although it's nice) because we have APs and I am just finally getting use of some of those 1 day passes we have had to purchase. Hopefully they won't follow with wanting basically length of stay passes with that offer like they just did with the Giftcard and 4/7 offers. They both were only 1 day pass requirements last time!

We did not get the code at all and I called last night and booked a trip for AKL CL in Dec 2010..well today i called and I had a code under my name for dec 2010!! :cool1: for 40% so even if you didnt get it I would call.

I got the 40% code through June and can't use it. I need (want) one for August/September. I am going to try the scenarios thing and hope it works!

I've been following all the directions on here...saving trips for August on the Disney World website. After reading more today, I saved a couple of trips on the Disney Destinations website. Within 2 hours I have the "save 20%, 30% or 40%" code! I am sooooo excited - and it's for the whole year (except for some dates that are blocked out). The subject line read: "***** Family, your Disney Dream is here!". I am going to call tonight for more information. Try that - after over 2 months of saving trips it worked after going onto that website!

Ok, some how I missed a big one. What is the Disney Destinations website?

I just received a PIN code today!!!!! My question is do you have to call or can you book it online. I'm waiting for the calendar for next year to be finalized so I know what week DD will be off school. Can't believe I finally received one!!!

You have to call and give them the PIN code.

Maxsmom....After reading alot of these posts and noticing they were all mentioning that the codes they were receiving were from Disney Destinations, I went onto that specific website and saved 2 trips. I swear I received a pin code within 2 hours! I had been saving trips on the Disney World website also. Try it, it worked for me - hopefully for you too!

To whomever it was that found this trick - THANK YOU!

We just saved over 600 bucks on our Dec trip from the AAA rate we booked in August or whenever. :earsboy:

Is this where you are talking about?

When I go there it sends me to disney world where I already have some saved. Or is there somewhere else that I am missing? Thanks!
