Irene, thanks for that. I will tell Kevin you guys survived. He wants to go to Italy. So do I, but don't think we can do that many countries in one trip. Alicia says she will brush up on her high school French if we will take her.

Thanksgiving at home for us, too. Gluten free style. Means I have to make my own crispy onions, better get on that. We already had one early turkey meal at SIL's since nephew was moving to Seattle.

I've been waiting for a new update.

I'm still trying to figure out how to talk Jay into going on that Norwegian cruise that Laura and Dwight are on, February 2015. I can book it while I'm onboard with Sharon in January and get a deal....but he keeps saying he can't plan that far in advance....says he could be dead by then....as if I couldn't find someone to take his place! Shame on me!

You need to book it!! You can cancel, if necessary - but the cost will only go up the closer we get to sailing!

We booked an S6 Aft, with haven access - it's not IN the haven so we'll have to make the trek!! lol Our balcony is about 225 sq ft!!!!!! The restaurant for Haven guests is located in the Haven and serves breakfast, lunch, AND dinner!

And tell Jay that Dwight really, really wants you 2 to cruise with us!!!!

Our "Thanksgiving dinner" yesterday was really, really good. A lot of work, but worth it. Apparently I haven't lost my touch, but boy did my back ache last night!

You should check out the pricing for the S7's (the most economical of the suites! ) I think the Haven on the new NCL ships is way superior to the Pearl! (the 2/28/2015 cruise had a 5% discount too for us, um, older folk!!! )

We are also staying home for Thanksgiving. Although I LOVE to cook I always feel like we should spend as much time at the table as it takes me to cook! It takes a ton of work and time and dinner is over in a flash!

We are most likely going to head to Texas for Christmas to see Jim's family. we've never done Christmas with them so it will be something different. It's just so DANG expensive to fly there. I am used to the Florida "bargains". Having a hard time pulling the trigger.

LOVE the Lone Ranger icon Not many people spell my name with an "s" - no biggie. Only occasionally have I felt left out with not having Facebook. I don't really see the point but I know a lot of people use it and love it. I miss not seeing other people's photos the most.

That's why I try to remember to put pictures on here, too.

And not many people spell my name correctly, either. One couple, who we've been friends with for 30 years, still spell my name "Stacie"......
And I've been called Tracy more times than I can count. I'm used to it, and it doesn't bother me.
Had to laugh, we went to a party the other night, the hostess had met me years ago, but she and her husband are more friends of Jay's than mine. She's hard of hearing now, and even though I told her "Stacey" three or four times, she called me "Faith" all night long. Neither Jay nor I corrected her.

Like my grandpa always said "Call me anything you want, just don't call me late for dinner!".

We had our meal on Sunday, so today Jared and I are getting a few little chores done, then I'm going to do my nails, sit with a good book for a while...and we're going out to dinner at a nice resort in Carefree.
I've had about all the turkey I can handle, so I'm glad they're also serving prime rib.
