Different operating system? Sometimes I have to use Firefox or Internet Explorer rather than my usual AOL, in order to view some things.

Good Morning All and a Happy Thanksgiving Week.

I shall read about our happenings in a moment. For us, we have been busy with trying to get Mother's house for sale, lots of memories in a 60 year abode. I participated in my first - and last - yard sale last weekend. It did accomplish the goal of moving things out of the house and I did meet some nice people and have some friendly help, but what a lot of work! And it rained.....meanwhile Sam was trying to get the fence rebuilt around our property and even with help it was a week off work for him. Hedgie assisted by supervising.....

Who is going where for Turkey Day? We are staying home, it shall be a different type of a holiday for us, the first we have ever been alone without immediate family - we do have invitations but shall start our own traditions now.

Otherwise, no weekends for us without wind and with time off, so that means no diving.

Enjoy the day wherever you are and whatever you do......

I'm back too! How was the cruise, Garry?

WDW Food & Wine Festival was fun! Great to see Irene, Sam & Hedgie!

Spent our last night at Studios for Osborne Lights. So glad I will be back there in 3 weeks!!


It's going to be a bit chilly here in GA in a couple days. They're calling for "possible snow flurries" so I better hurry out to the supermarket for milk, bread, eggs & beer! It's a Georgia tradition!

We had great fun at Food and Wine and thanks for the mini meet.....We are not planning on a Christmas venture this year, first time this millenium........
So did it snow?????????

I'm back too!!!

Had snow flurries one day, a couple of days with the wind chill it was only about 9 degrees. And late yesterday my parent's furnace fan module died, so we spent the night and morning with no heat.

Darn, but it's good to be back in warm country!!


Except SOOOOO hard to leave my babies.

then I find out about keeping the 2 cruises I have booked next year, not thinking its going to be,

at this point I am ready to just travel and enjoy what I can while I can

sounds like a plan to me,
will see what I get told on Tuesday,




stay warm enjoy the rain , snow , and great sunrise and sunsets

Garry, that does not look like a good review of the cruise. If I'm interpreting correctly.

We are undecided on our next trips. Need to get back to Napa next year and use the timeshare week there. We are kind of thinking a Europe trip, maybe London and Paris in the fall. Not a tour or cruise, a couple of weeks in apartments maybe. Never been and it's on my bucket list. Kevin is worried about the language barrier in France. I told him many people have braved it and come back alive.

We have a short Magic cruise planned to see the new ship and will stop by and see Stacey at the end of said adventure. I'll post a trip report.

I also want to go to France. I am not worried about the language because most of the places we will visit are the tourist ones and I am sure we can manage with signs. If we get out into the county most folk are polite. We managed in the mountains of Italy at the pensions and I only had two weeks of Italian. The Visa card works wonders....and I learned enough Italian to order off the menu and to say good morning, please, thank you and where is the bathroom. The problem is that I did not learn enough to understand the directions when they spoke back to me. I just hoped they would point....

I am on Firefox, I have always been on FF and only now did I have the issue....I shall try the magic box (IPhone) and see it works....

I've been waiting for a new update.

I'm still trying to figure out how to talk Jay into going on that Norwegian cruise that Laura and Dwight are on, February 2015. I can book it while I'm onboard with Sharon in January and get a deal....but he keeps saying he can't plan that far in advance....says he could be dead by then....as if I couldn't find someone to take his place! Shame on me!

Thanksgiving....ahhh yes..... Well, I debated with myself forever, trying to decide if I wanted to do all that cooking for just 3 of us.
Ends up, I'm making a turkey breast with small portions of the "trimmings" tomorrow, and on Thursday, we're going up to the Carefree Inn for Thanksgiving dinner. This way, we get the yummy leftovers and I also get the day to kick back and let someone wait on me for a change.
