We've even been following along with all of the "scary" Olympic stuff. I don't know how they get the guts to even say "I think I'd like to try sliding 80mph down a strip of ice, face first" let alone actually going out and DOING it!!!

But I think that's part of the hold it has on us....we'd never dream of doing it, so therefore, it's fascinating.

Lisa, Sharon, and I had a real treat this past weekend. On Thursday I got an email from a friend, which we all know, that she had 3 extra tickets for the Jimmy Buffet concert on Saturday in Jacksonville.

To say the least I was knocking on her door at 10:00 PM to pick them up.

What a great show!!! Perfect seats, small venue, great time!!!

It was a perfect treat for a weekend of no gymnastics.

From what I've been told, they're working on it. The mods can't do it, the Admins have to. That was one busy fellow....he was all over a ton of different boards, not just the cruise boards.
Some people just have too much time on their hands.

It's fun to use - (I have the Flip Ultra HD) - I used it on the last cruise. Makes good enough video - and small enough to carry around.

I read that they are compatible with MAC, but what about us HP users?
Jordan has a new MAC, I could just use her computer.

Since I'm hauling the big still camera and three lenses, plus the tripod, to Alaska, I thought this little video camera would be great to stick into an extra pocket. Maybe I'll get a close-up of a whale. Or maybe I don't want to, after what happened at SeaWorld!
