Il Pochi il Fiero y Blabbermouths...Magical Reunion FINALLY!!!

I'll take a peek.

We spent yesterday with Mark and Mary. Had a great time. Even did a little wedding cruise talking.

The meet didn't go well as far as score, but the coaches were happy. They want the girls to do big skills even if they don't hit them all the time. Those skills are necessary to make it to Nationals. The Recruiters are also looking for the skills.

Thisis the first meet Matt has been to in 2 years and they make him sick. He looked like a homeless wino throwing up on the street coming back from the meet. We may be banned for what he did in the main hotel entrance.

He still is not feeling any better so it may be a trip to the doctor for us today. I'm thinking that 10 hours of puking is not good for the body, especially when it will not hold down water.

It is just another part of our adventure. At least his mommy is here to takecare of him. Oh wait, she is sleeping right now and Im up with Matthew.

Good morning Jim. So sorry to hear Matt is sick. It was great seeing you all yesterday. I think Lisa did great but felt bad after her fall on the bars. You know worry wart me I thought we jinxed her.

Now it makes more sense when you say the coaches were pushing for the harder skills. When you look at the little ones who were over in the next "gym" and you see how far the level 10 girls have come you know there has to be spills along the way.

Prayers and pixie dust that Matt feels better and you can enjoy your last day in Chicago.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Poor Matt!!! Definitely better to have the comfort of Mom and Dad....but not so great to be sick when you want to enjoy eachother.
FEEL BETTER SOON MATT!

Matt spent the day in bed and is feeling better. He is now drinking and some light eating.

Since there was not much we could do for him we spent the day downtown and had a great time.

Matt will be going us tomorrow so we can enjoy our morning together.

Thanks for the well wishes.

There is a good side of this. I saved lots of money since I did not have to feed him. Hopefully he will not make up for it tomorrow.

So while we were enjoying a lovely lunch on Saturday (thank you Jim) the subject of the wedding cruise came up and what plans (or lack there of) have we made.

I know we've kicked a couple of these around already but here we go again. Plus I'm putting them here for right now as I'd like feedback about some of these being just for the blabbermouths as kind of reunion or do we want to open them up to anyone sailing on that date (we kind of do talking about the cruise in both places). So here goes:

  • Saturday night dinner. Anyone up for it? Where? Do we do the WDW area? The port area? or head up to JB's again?
  • Sunday morning breakfast. Some of us were talking about doing breakfast the morning we sail at Grills. Who is up for that?

  • Brunch - with one sea day for brunch space will be limited but since many of us are Platinum we should be able to book individually and see if we can be seated together or near each other. Virgil we are assuming you and the family most likely have the private room booked for a brunch celebration but what about everyone else?
So let the discussion begin. I'm not looking to be the organizer of these - kind of burned out on those things, just looking for general discussion and to see if anyone want to organize any of them.

Plus I promised Lisa buttons so look for a note on that in the future. That I think would be open to all as in the past.

My 2¢ worth.....a "Reunion"......just us Blabbermouths. So far, we only have two other people chiming in over there anyway, so that will make the onboard Meet & Greet pretty simple.

Saturday night we'll be staying in Windermere. I personally have no idea where that is, in relation to ANYTHING....I'm up for dinner, but gaRry is the chauffeur, so he and Vicki have the final say on that.

I really, really, really want to eat breakfast for sure .....so will see what G & V say also.

I am totally up for brunch, also. I'm not platinum...not till after this cruise....so I hope I can book a time close to you guys.

Hi folks...I cannot believe it is getting close to sail away time. Or that Matt was so sick he could not eat. Now that is sick, and I hope is is better today.

Mary thanks for getting the discussion started...and we know you are not looking to undertake all the organization --

Palo's - gee, I thought whoever was Plantinum could book all of us together if we could link our ressies....Sharon????

The port - Saturday night dinner. Anyone up for it? Where? Do we do the WDW area? The port area? or head up to JB's again?
We are - no great ideas as to where - depends on the time.

Sunday morning breakfast. Some of us were talking about doing breakfast the morning we sail at Grills. Who is up for that?
I would like to say yes, but that would require we get up early in the morning, so not so sure about this... (either way right now)

Brunch - with one sea day for brunch space will be limited but since many of us are Platinum we should be able to book individually and see if we can be seated together or near each other. See hint above aimed at Sharon. We are not Platinum. we are gold. We will be outside looking in with sad puppy eyes.

Buttons - yippeee - Sam, me and of course HEDGIE.

Now I need to either go watch the Olympics or take a nap.....

Have a good week all.

Good!
Dinner Saturday
Breakfast Sunday
No Brunch for Youuuuuuu......but then, I'm not Platinum either, so I may not get a spot. If I don't, I promise I won't cry. I may stand outside the windows and hope someone sneaks me out a sticky bun, though. ;)

Yes, we're staying in Windermere...it's free! And NOOOOO it's not with Judy.

Pepsi! I thought about the sticky buns before I even thought about my Pepsi. Someone take my temperature, I might have what Matt had!
A couple of the plastic bottles will get me through the 5 days.:thumbsup2

U-TOP with gaRry! Extra PDFor Him!

I'm starting to think that Matt may not have had a case of food poisoning. Just as he left his mark on the Marriott I did the same on AirTran as we were landing.

At least mine was in those cute little paper bags.

Now on to cruise topics....Virgil is thinking 11:00 for his brunch time.

I got to go now....

I asked for the private room in Palo for 11am on Wednesday - the sea day - there are either 10 or 12 parents/grandparents going. We are most likely staying at the Hilton Garden Inn at the airport on Saturday night. Too many family to coordinate as it is....

I plan on using whatever pull I need to so that we can all have Palo near the same time...

No brunch???? It is one of the best meals. Yeah for dinner and breakfast!

I don't think linking would work as when you link only one of you can be on at booking day and if people want to book other things (dinner, spa, etc.) they can't. Also for us linking wouldn't work because it would move us to late dining and while we would LOVE to be linked with you all for dinner we've tried late and it just doesn't work for us.

Virgil - that's what we figured as far as the room. While we'd also love to have you join us for dinner and breakfast we know you guys have a lot of your plate this cruise.

Any pull you can give would be great. I assume we should all go ahead and book separately just to get in and then maybe arrangements can be made to have a larger table outside (much like on the 10 day where we had one table in the room and one out). You might not want us right outside the room but if they could accomodate us somewhere as a group that would be great. Thanks!

Great - so, we all need to ask for Brunch at 11:00 then?
