Ok - so the new Animators has two themes - One normal for underwater and Crush and one for the Pirate Party. It is cool.

Hum, guess who cannot find the other themed shoots? I thought I had downloaded them when I did my trip report....I shall have to investigate the main 'puter...Later guys.

I know I'm a little "out there" on my opinion of this one, but I'm disappointed they have romanticize Pirates while we are eating dinner.

I just don't understand the cultural love for pirates. Wiki says "A pirate is a person who commits warlike acts at sea without the authorization of any nation." That is not someone that I want my kids acting like.

A pirate is just an historical terrorist.

If pirates are not that bad, than why are numerous governments trying to kill the Somalia pirates? Somalia pirates are only doing what the 1800 pirates did....capture and steal ships.

I guess the families of the Somalia pirates just don't understand that pirates are cute and we should dress up and talk like them.

Disney isn't exactly known for sticking to historical accuracy when making Captain Hook, Jack Sparrow, Pocahontas, etc...

Heck - Walt Disney didn't even stick to the original fairy tales, those are gruesome! The stepsisters cut off their respective toe and heel to fit into the glass slipper. Plus, I think the birds plucked their eyes out as they went past....

My two cents' worth.......I've never seen any of the Pirate movies all the way through, from start to finish. I just really am not turned on by them. I absolutely can't stand Johnny Depp, although I do respect his acting abilities.

I have a feeling that Disney (DCL) felt as though they should do something for the boys, since so much of the decor is for girls, with all the Princesses and such. But....I really have to agree with Jim. I don't want it as part of my dining experience, and I've never liked the part of Animator's where they have the villains, either.
