Ciao! Anyone have any reviews/opinions of Il Mulino? I'll be going there the night before the Princess Half Marathon to "carbo load". I haven't seen many messages about it, and was curious what you DISers thought.

Thanks!

I've enjoyed everything I've tried there. I've had appetizer pizzas and arancini in the bar, and I've had a regular entree in the dining room. I'd endorse this place for anyone to try.

Thanks! In my past trips to Disney, I've steered away from the Italian restaurants, so I'm hoping it's delicious. The menu seems a bit more interesting than that of Tutto Italia.

I got a restaurant.com gift certificate for $2 for $25 worth of food, too. Can't beat that!

Il Mulino is in a different league than Tutto. Very nice restaurant, quiet, more upscale, more adult, excellent wine list (although I'm sure you aren't doing that with the marathon).

I unfortunately will not be drinking anything but water that night, but my DF is a bit of a wine afficionado, and will be happy to hear about the wine list!

Did you feel the need to dress up a bit more than if you were dining at one of the park or resort restaurants? I'm thinking it will be similar to Citricos as far as attire, but figured I should double check.

I'll second Lori's recommendation. In addition to the bar food - which was very good - I've actually eaten in the restaurant as well. We ate there just last week and the service and food was outstanding. Their prices are a bit on the high side, but they do offer a discount for Tables in Wonderland.

Good Choice, food is awesome.Service is far better as well.It is the only Italian place in Dis we go to specifically for the food and not as a convenience.

I was a little worried. I bought the restaurant.com certificate for future use and then I read tons of BAD reviews about this place.

NOTE: This is only one of five sit-down eateries we patronize at WDW. The
service is always exquisite and the food very-good-to-excellent. I want to feel
important at a fine dinner, and IL Mulino does this to their patrons. We felt the
price-to-food/service ratio to be of excellent value. We had two servers who
kept our glasses full and our needs always met. It is good to be pampered.

No need to dress up. You will see everything from suits to shorts, mainly casual business attire.

Another vote for good food and great service. A choice of several pasta dishes on the menu.

Count us in as fans also.

My DD fell in love with the Children's Alfredo. It tasted freshly made.

Fabulous bread basket.

Definately more adult but kids are made to feel welcome. It is not Chef Mickey's.

One of the best dining experiences we had last summer and on the list to do again. I loved the risotto and can't wait to have it again.
