Think of all the opportunities, important info they are missing out on. They have limited say in what is going on as they have limited themselves to short bursts of text. How do the emails they send come across?
I don't need to think about what they are missing out on, it's usually something important and it comes back to bite us.
Our crews in the field all have cell phones and laptops so all their e-mails are sent and read that way. I have taken to transferring calls to their cell phones, but almost none of them want us to do that. And many have full voicemail boxes on their cellphones, so I have to take an old fashioned message and e-mail it.
