After dealing with a collie puppy's activity level, that of a stuffed animal sounds positively dreamy to me.
DC has allergy issues and is one of those people who can't stand a thing out of place. Just going out to lunch and seeing the inevitable collie/cat hair on my wool jacket has her searching for a lint brush.

How she survives some days with three small children is beyond me but she's incredibly organized and definitely an alfa dog type.
They really want a dog in the family again and she's been researching crested breeders with possible future litters. One woman told her there was no way she'd place any of her dogs in a home with children - DC said she made it sound like it was condemning them to certain death or hideous torture. DD20 & I got a kick out of that b/c I've never seen a more structured home or better behaved, though very indulged, kids.
