I ignored you guys all weekend. (Kerrie -- I was in your neck of the woods -- my older son ran the Austin Marathon and we made a weekend of it!)

I cannot ignore the turkey leg. :scared1:

Pakey! -- I also cannot ignore that you are a Las Vegas enthusiast. I saw your name on a LV thread and found the board! We just went last month for the first time in 25 years, and we had a blast. We're trying to figure out how quickey we can get back!

Okay -- back to ignoring.

Morning to all. I survived Valentine's Day. No romance here; I had to watch the opening of the racing skittle season.

Wickey, yes, I'm a huge Las Vegas fan. Both my prior and current companies do business there so I have been there often (I average a trip there about every 3 months). It's a 50 minute flight from home so my husband and I sometimes go over there just to have dinner.

We are 10 days from our trip to Disneyland. :woohoo:

SWEET!!! I want to work for a company that sends me to either Orlando or now Las Vegas.

Ooooh -- hope you have fun at DL!

No romance here either. DH told me last year that we don't need to do anything because neither of us are going anywhere. Incredibly sweet, huh?

DH was born in Vegas. We've been wanting to go, but another child comes up everytime we try. :sad2:

We are now at 3 kids with fevers, runny noses, coughs, etc. One still on antibiotics, but feeling much better. And the boy seems to be immune to everything. How did he get so lucky?

I need a vacation.

He actually says that about birthdays, too. But, he is a smart man, he's never said it about our anniversary.

And that's why he's allowed to continued breathing. :rotfl:

I have a confession to make -- I DO NOT like turkey legs. That pic made my queazy.

I have a confession to make -- I DO NOT like turkey legs....

"...I do not like them in a box,
I do not like them with a fox.
I would not eat one in a house;
I would not eat one with 'the Mouse',
I will not eat one here or there -
I do not like them ANYWHERE!...."

Actually, I think he just says it about his birthday, but after hearing it so much, it stays in my head. He's never said it about my birthday either.

I've never eaten a turkey leg, either.

I've gotten to the point where I'm done celebrating birthdays too. Once you've had a few decades worth, well the shine tends to wear off. Even my poor DD. She had birthday parties through 13. This past year -- nope. No more. Get her a gift and a cake yes, another birthday party -- nope.

And Kimmar you're right -- I don't like it with The Mouse either. :rotfl:

I've never had a turkey leg but being on this diet, everything looks good.

We don't celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, any of it. My last birthday was when I turned 49; haven't had one since. My husband and I never can remember our anniversary; now it's a contest to see who remembers it soonest past the date.

We've been married 30 years -- so we have an agreement. No cards. There is not one out there that we haven't already seen. :) And, I don't need candy. Flowers would be okay, but I'd really rather take that money and put it toward my next WDW trip. :) I'm more the birthday celebrator -- even if I have to get my own cake and presents.

Kerrie -- I hope all your kiddos get better. Go for the one that deflects the germs!

I agree -- they make me feel the same way.
