Can anyone give me their take on Animal Kingdom Lodge and Boardwalk (standard rooms). Thanks.

Thinking of upgrading with the 40% off discount. FWIW, we're more beachy people than animal people. Would like to hear about transportation, etc.

Thanks.

I'm definitely ignorant on this subject.

Have you considered the Beach Club? They have the best pool on site (IMO).

I'm sorry you're sick -- hope I can ignore you when you're better.

Just kidding, wickey! You say more clever things than I do. But that would make a nice tag, doncha think?

Ohh -- I LIKE it!!! :)

Snap, sorry to hear you have joined the ranks of the feeling piggin group here.

I'd like to ignore the work that is piling up here while I'm training a new accountant. I can't sleep for the stress of it.

Pakey -- sorry for your accountant woes.

Nothing available there. That was my first choice. ;) My daughter's first choice was Poly -- nothing there either. Apparently my options are Boardwalk, Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge and Sarasota Springs, which my daughter refers to as the "retirement community". :rotfl:

...FWIW, I'm ignoring the fact that you are a 'beach'['y' person]

...sounds like YOU have got a case o' the SF....so, I'll jes' IGNORE ya....

The pool at the Wilderness Lodge is very small. If by beachy you mean you like the water, the pool at the Boardwalk is big and has a nice slide.

I have been paying way too much attention to you today :sad2::snooty:

Oh no, work stress is the worst. DH loses sleep over his job sometimes too.
Big hugs to you :hug: ( I could not ignore this post)

I guess it's more the feel of the place. We love Cape May. We've been doing the Jersey boardwalk for years. Just sort of feels like home. We also have a house in the Poconos. Just not my thing. I prefer sand, water and the beachy feel to trees, mountains, animals, wildlife, etc. I also think the location of the Boardwalk is fabulous. Just wondering if anyone had any personal experience with these resorts. I trust you all and your opinions. :flower3:

Now stop paying attention to me. :headache:

Then I think the Boardwalk is the perfect place for you. Wilderness Lodge will feel like the Poconos. I've never stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge, so I can't say anything about that one.

Darn it, stop talking to me! :headache::snooty:
