Yep.I'll never not call it MGM.
I hate hollywood Adventure, too. DHS is my favorite park and has been since I was a little girl. I'm not sure what changes would come to the park in order for it to fit with an adventure theme and, while I am not opposed to change, I worry that they will get farther from the classic hollywood feel and go more towards thrill rides. I like thrill rides but not at the expense of old Hollywood. Then again, maybe they will still have the classic stuff. I'm just not loving the Hollywood Adventure name. At all.I really dislike the name of Disney's Hollywood Adventure. But I really like Hollywoodland. I wonder what it'll be... I guess I just hope that it's the last name change in my lifetime.

I understand what you are saying. My thinking is that if they are going to change the name, they are likely changing the theme of the park. Otherwise, there is no reason to change the name. If they are going to change the theme to include "adventure", I would think that they intended to include some high energy, adventurous experiences. If that turns out to be true, I hope that they don't sacrifice the old Hollywood feel they have going on on Sunset and Hollywood Boulevards. Also, the more I think about it, the less I like the name - theme change or not. Odd since I really enjoy DCA."Adventure" does not have to mean "rugged physical exertion" or "thrill rides."
The very common phrase "We're off an an adventure," simply means were going to do something fun or unique.
I consider visiting WDW, as a whole, to be an "adventure."
I believe early documents for BLT listed the tower as Kingdom Tower. To me, that sounded a bit too much like an LDS church building.I really hate Hollywood KingdomIt sounds Six-Flaggy to me.
I think just calling it Disney Studios Park is on the right track. They own so many other studios it would allow them to encompass that as well, as mentioned above.
"Disney Hollywood Adventure" according to an ex-student who is a current CM at the Poly. Announcement of expansion April or August, I can't remember which one...I will ask again.
When we were there last month, a security agent at Epcot and a well-spoken CM in the MK both eluded to a big Star Wars announcement "soon." I think the Star Wars expansion will be bigger than the Pixar rumor. But really, who knows![]()
