If you've seen "Braveheart"...

I've never watched the whole movie either, too violent... but one part I seem to remember~~we get to see Mel's butt in this movie too?? or am I just hoping??

Not my kind of flick. Too much violence and gore for me. That's why I will never see The Last Samurai or The new Mel Gibson movie about Jesus.

I loved the movie Braveheart! Yes, it was on the gorey side but it was based on history. I believe there was blood shed in those battles back then. The ending was sad though.

I suspect it may be a little like "Gladiator"?

I think Braveheart is one of the best movies ever made. I am actually surprised so many on this thread did not like it. It does get compared to Gladiator quite a bit, but I think Braveheart is far superior. The range of emotions portrayed is so much greater - from extreme highs to extreme lows.

I think I saw this movie in school a few years ago. It's not the type of movie I like to watch so I didn't like it. I also hate anything with violence or blood, so that also made me not like it.

Braveheart is based on part of Scotland's history.
It is about the way the English treated the Scots and the way William Wallace set out to change things.

Sorry if you find our history boring.

Loved this movie......and learned some history of Scotland as well.
And of course, Mel Gibson was just great in it.
