I called today a few minutes prior to noon, and was on hold for 15 min. When I finally got through, my first choice was already gone. I was wanting Le Cellier around 6pm or a little before, for a party of 3, to attend the 8:15 Christmas Eve, CP. I can't remember for sure, but I think he quoted the last available dinner time around 4:30. Way too early for us to eat dinner. :( Thankfully, for us, the story isn't all bad. The only reason I was going to book Le Cellier is because it is one of our favs., and after looking over the menus, it appears that you get more for your money out of the package there. My DH wanted Les Chef de France, anyway. We have eaten there before 3 CP's, and it has become somewhat of a tradition. I ended up reserving dinner for 5:50pm, and still the 8:15 show. Now I look at it like, so what if we don't quite get as much for our money, we'll be happy and keeping our tradition. By the way, I just thought I'd mention, that on previous occasions, none of which were Christmas Eve, we had a 6:15 ressie, and had to run to get to the show on time. Last year, we were asked to sit on a concrete wall just inside the Theatre. I have arthritis, and a deteriorating spine, so of course that wasn't an option. We were finally seated on a bench right behind a tree. No need to even get out the camcorder. We were extremely upset about the whole situation, so this time we decided to eat a little earlier. Just thought I'd share that experience, to give you an advance warning. Happy planning!

Heads up,good advice thank you for sharing::yes:: :wave2:

I second that. I called this morning to make our reservations for Garden Grill for December 12 CP package and when I told her I wanted Garden Grill she promptly said "That's gonna sell out this year." Luckily we were still able to get the time we wanted.

I'm wondering if December will be busier this year since folks are planning/ rescheduling based upon hurricane season this year

I really hope GG doesn't sell out. We aren't doing the CP package this year...just personal preference, don't want to see it again and have to pay up front.

I really hope they keep some regular dining reservations available for people who don't want the CP. Otherwise, I have to figure out where else we can get in for our Epcot dinner that everyone will like.
