If you're not shy... what size pants are you and how much do you weigh?

But if the sizes are getting - um, is it bigger or smaller? - what happens to the people at the lower end of the scale? My daughter, who is very slender, wears a 0 or occasionally a 2. If the current 0 is what used to be a 14, according to a previous poster, what are the people who would have been a 12, 10, 8, etc. in 1937 wearing? Do we have clothes in negative numbers now? How skinny were these people (because believe me, my size 0 daughter has no fat on her!)?

I don't really care about the number, I just wish there was more consistency. I really tend to shop at one store almost all the time mostly because I know what size I wear there!

Teresa

I've seen 000 size 23 (?) By the time she grows up she'll be a negative -8 with the way things are going.

I generally wear a size 12, and sometimes 14, or 10. I'm 5 foot 8 and weigh just under 135. Everyone always tells me I'm thin, and don't believe me when I tell them my pant size. Granted I do not like my pants to be overly tight, but still, I couldn't imagine going much smaller and still being comfortable.

For reference I wear usually large but sometimes medium in tops.

What size are you and how much do you weigh?

Seriously??

I'm about same size as you.

5'8"
130 lbs.

But I wear a size 6 in pants. Sometimes a size 4 depending on cut.

I wear a small in tops.

I like things fitted, but not tight.

5' 7.5" tall
120 pounds

I wear size 8 usually. I could probably wear a Size 6 for the waist, but those are usually too short for my taste.

I live in Lands End corduroys pants in the winter, & those run Small, Med, or Large. I wear Mediums.

I'm 5'4" and weigh 105. I wear a 0.

However, when I was in high school (1980's) I weighed the EXACT same and wore a size 7.

I'm 5' 7.5" tall, too, but am 138 lbs. I pretty consistently wear 3/4 pants, but my Old Navy jeans are a size 2 (definitely vanity sizing).

I wear a size 10/12 shirt though...makes dress shopping a nightmare!

Boy's 16 or Men's 2, and I'm 127 pounds. I'm working on losing weight, but not in a normal place (ok, most of the time it's a normal place). Not in a special place, but in WDW BABY! :)

:faint:

~~ I love you Phil, and you will forever be with me! Forever my very best and most special friend! I love you to no end. ~~

I'm a guy so it's totally different, just felt like posting out of 3 day weekend boredom haha

6'4 230 lbs 40x34, sometimes 38x34 depending on the brand......which is way down, 12 months ago I was 280 pounds 42x34, I fit into my pants and Space Mountain much easier these days :goodvibes

5'6 125 . I wear between a 2-6 dependIng on brand But I wear an insulin pumps the inside of my pant waistline so that always plays a part onthe sIze I wear

5'6" - 132 pounds - I wear a size 10 in jeans.

2012... 5'3" 170 lbs size 12

1987... 5'3" 120 lbs size 10

Sizes have changed so much in the past 25 years

I wasn't going to post my weigh and size but after reading everyone else, I feel a little like a freak or something.

5'1 145ish and a size 6.

I'm usually closer to 138 and a size 4.

I would like to get below 130 (125 would be ideal) because that would get me out of the BMI overweight category. I just don't know where I'd shop if I did.

Such tiny people! I'm 275 [Why should I be ashamed to admit the number I'm trying to loose?] and wear a size 20 - 22 depending on the make. Shirt size an XL that fits a little snug, but I prefer to wear loose fitting clothing so slap a 2 on it and it's mine. I hope to get down to about 200lbs, and I hope to see myself in a size 14 by my next birthday!

:confused3 This whole thread has me confused. It seems at 5'6", 132 pounds I should be in a size 6, yet I'm a 10. Maybe I need to start buying more expensive jeans

I am 5'7", 117lbs. and a Size 2 in most pants unless they are junior's and then I'm a 5/6.
