If You're Flying from L.A. to Orlando.....

Let me heartily recommend the new JET BLUE NONSTOP from BURBANK airport to Orlando. This flight doesn't seem to have 'caught on" yet with the flying public and is always less than half full. Leave Burbank 8am arrive Orlando 3:30pm, leave Orlando 3:30pm arrive Burbank 6pm. Yes I said NONSTOP!

If you live halfway between Burbank and LAX I heartily recommend the Burbank airport, it is SO easy in and easy out on this flight. The Jet Blue counter is not crowded at 7 in the morning and security was a breeze. We got there at 6:40 for our 8:00am flight and at 7:10 we were settled in at the gate just waiting for takeoff! Such a breeze!

Why am I not keeping this a secret? Because I'm afraid they are going to discontinue this great flight if business doesn't pick up!

I'm so bummed!! Jetblue is discontinuing this direct service after November. I had round trip direct flights booked in December from Burbank to Orlando and I got an email that said they were cancelled! I called them and they said that after November they were being discontinued because not enough people were flying this route. I am so disappointed! However, they did give us a full refund with no cancellation penalties.

I guess they expected lots of Disney Execs to be flying from Burbank to Orlando but it didn't pan out. The idiots would rather fly out of LAX i guess. Not to mention that half of them have just been canned.

Can't say that Jet Blue advertised very well in the L.A. area however. I imagine they'll be discontinuing their other flights out of Burbank as well?
