what could a doctor do to fix it? Is it just a take some advil sort of thing?

I have hip pain sometimes only in my left hip. It happens sometimes when I walk too much (like at WDW) or just randomly. Usually it goes away after a day but I've been feeling it the last few days.

I'm 26 and I'm feeling a lot older!

I'd go to the chiropractor if it was me. :) You could see an ortho and he/she would most likely tell you to take something for possible inflammation and see if it gets better. If you need to lose a few pounds then drop them, walk more to strengthen it etc. etc. (That is the kind of things I hear them say all the time anyway!)
Getting older isn't too much fun when it comes to aches and pains. I hope it is nothing and goes away soon!

I would visit a chiropractor

(I just saw the above post, great minds think alike)

Depends what kind of pain it is. Is it shooting pain? Dull pain?

I'd see a doctor. Then possibly a chiropractor if it's sciatic.

I have the same pain but in my right hip. The doctor has told me that it's the nerve stretching from the walking and then non activity then alot of activity. She told me to have lots of sex and it would stay active:cool1:

So, yes I still get the hip aches:rotfl2:

OMG! :rotfl2:

I'd have excruciating pain in both hips.

I also vote for Chiropractor. I have occassional hip pain and a visit to him always clears it up!:thumbsup2

Must be why I never have problems with my hips. :rolleyes1

Ziggystardust, I would probably go to the chiropractor. May be as something simple as a needed adjustment. Good luck!

A good massage therapist may also help.
