We are arriving on the 9th. I decided I wasn't going to worry about my job situation till it happens (pray nothing happens) and go ahead and plan our 30th Anniversary vacation. I am so happy we at least overlap our trips one or two days.

I want to thank KatMark for the great CSR thread, I read through it real quick to decide whether to get the water view room or the preferred room. I went with the preferred; that is why I love these boards the information we get is so helpful.

Arriving on the 9th will work out perfectly! We'll need to leave in the afternoon of the 10th! At least we could either have dinner together or else spend some time together! I am sure we can work something out!

Kathy's thread is incredible! There is so much information hidden in there!

Okay, all caught up. OH.My.Goodness. This has to be the first time a PTR had me all teary....starting with the words to one of my all time favorite songs....then all the wonderful DREAMS come true for you & Tom. Happy tears though!!

If anyone can manage FIVE active threads, I have confidence in you, Karin. Not a whole of confidence in my being able to keep up ,l but promise to do my best.

No problem, Christine, you made it here in plenty of time. Lots of planning to be done.
We were so lucky with this vacation! As we REALLY thought that this one would have to be a low key vacation with 3 cruises. But with all the discounts Disney made it happen!

We'll see for how long I can manage the 5 threads, but at least my dining review should be done by the time when we go to WDW in February!

Wow Karin! How are you keeping up with all of this??? You go, girl! I am also a teacher and I am looking forward to hearing more about your trips. I am trying to covince my DH to take me on The Dream for our 25th anniversary, so far no luck...however, we will be arriving at WDW this Friday! So, I am doing the happy dance right now!

I really wonder myself how I will manage with 5 active threads. Guess I will need to hurry with the dining review and trip report to narrow it down a bit!

We have been on three cruises on the Wonder and we cannot wait to cruise on the Dream. Please, "work" on your DH, so he agrees to take you on a DREAM cruise!

I have become quite the Scrooge McDuck when it comes to saving for Disney. But Disney themselves have helped a lot by handing out discounts galore.
We are so happy with our Dream cruises - I cannot wait to sail with Disney again!
When do you want to sail in 2012? We wanna do a Dream and a Fantasy cruise in 2012 as well!

Between our busy winter season, Todd getting sick and he just had to share his cold with me and now I think it is the flu, it is hard for me to keep up with everything but I am doing my best!

Good evening, Christine! Another day closer to the weekend! I have been back to work for only two days and I feel like I need another vacation. 24 14 year olds who had two weeks to plan new mischief is quite a handful!
But I sneaked my laptop in to work today and went on the DISboards while I was on break! Doesn't get any better than a little bit of DISboard surfing while at work!

Good news and bad news!!

I got an email from our friends Mary Ellen and Joe today!

Here are some photos of all of us!

Well, let me give you the BAD news first!

They might not come to WDW to see us after all! They had planned on flying down on Sept 3, their kids had planned on flying in on the 7th and we all had planned on spending some time together.
Now they might just have to postpone their trip!

And here's the GOOD news!

They are going to be grandparents again right at the time of their intended visit to WDW!
I think that is a legitimite reason to postpone the trip.

On the other hand ..... if they don't come to see us at WDW, it will be much easier to sneak away to Naples, to see Nicki and Todd.

Yes, we are playing with the idea of driving down to Naples one day, meet Nicki, spend the night in a nice hotel and drive back the following afternoon.
We have been to Naples in 1999 and I remember it fondly, but meeting Nicki would make for even fonder memories!
