If you were to go all out in WDW ?

If money is no object... I would be in Florida from October through April. I don't like winter...I don't like cold. This way, I don't have to move to Florida. And when I am in Disney, I would like to stay on the monorail resorts. I would want a room service whenever I feel like not leaving the room. I would also like to do a concierge and stay in a suite. Wow...what a dream!

all of these dreams sound so great. I think what I would like to do is go with all my family for the first week and stay at the villas at the WL.

Then the second week I would want a girls only trip( no kids, and no dh) Do the spa , Victoria and Alberts. You know all things you cant do when your kids and dh are there. Shop till in cant shop anymore. I would also like to do some of the tours, I have never done one.

a 3 bedroom suite in boca chica, grand floridian for 5 nights and a suite at yachy club for 5 nights, fun, fun, fun!!!!:sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

Well......the lovely young lady who started this thread is my DD Meggan and the reason she started this thread is to get some ideas for a very special trip to WDW that we will be doing in early Dec. 2005.

This what is being called the 30/50 birthday trip. My eldest DD Holly will be turning 30 next year and I'll be turning 50.

I had proposed a trip to Europe or maybe an "all out" tour of San Francisco and the wine country. But what did my DD's want to REALLY do? Go to WDW of course.

So we'll stay at the YC concierge, a V&A's dinner, a day at the GF Spa and that type of thing. Also, I want to spend a MINIMUM of 8 days at the world.

I like the idea of a behind the scenes tour too !!!

Any more ideas DIS'ers?

Thanks,
Linda

I'd probably still stay where we always do (2 bedroom at OKW), and re-do all the backstage tours in one trip! I try to do a different one each trip now. Then I would be sure to schedule a PS at each of the main restaurants and see all the shows I could, including CDS at least once. Did I mention this trip would be for 2 months? Yep, all of January and February, so I could miss the worst of winter here in Minnesota!

i have to say that I have the greatest mom in the world. I thought i would have to do some arm twisting to get her to take us to disney instead of Europe, I should have know it wouldnt be that hard.

We really want to make this a very special trip, we have been to disney many times. This time we really want to enjoy the finer points of disney. so keep the ideas coming.

I would stay at Old Key West in a 2 bedroom villa as always simply because the rooms are so comfy and its so laid back and quiet there. If I am going this summer I decided that I would stay anywhere I wanted and after searching thorugh ALL the resorts I went right back and decided on OKW. Washer dryer, large kitchen and huge living room area! A balcony to just relax and we always watch the nightly fireworks at MK.

I would go for two weeks. Fly first class and have a limo transfer us (and also my parents). The first week I would stay at the Poly Concierge or the WL Concierge. The second week I would stay at either the Beach Club Concierge or the Boardwalk in one of those little garden apartments. We would do an Illuminations Cruise, watch Wishes from the yacht moored at the GF, do a backstage tour or two, and have a few appointments at the spa. Restaurants I would make a point of eating at:
Narcoossees
California Grill
Yachtman Steakhouse
'Ohana
Artist Point

My kids could play at the Neverland Club while we dine, although they would like 'Ohana.

I would just have a wonderful time with my family and spend lots of souveniers and fun stuff for the kids (and me too!). I would get AP's for sure so we could come back later in the year...and if money were truly no object, I would buy into DVC.

Easy.

First Class Flight to MCO

Walt Disney Suite at Grand Floridian for 3 weeks under Platinum Package with every add on possible.

Premium Annual Passes
Lexus Rental Car
2 Dinners each at least at Victoria and Alberts, California Grill, and the Brown Derby
Full VIP Backstage Tours at Each Park
Personalized Wedding-Style Cake in center of room for length of stay

Once my Google IPO goes through, I'll live this dream.
