restaurant would be your first choice or which ones would you recommend.
we are staying on site for the first time at SSR and would love to just walk over at night for a meal. We have tried RFC and House of Blues and liked both but maybe the kids have outgrown the RFC

Price wise nothing dearer than RFC would be good.

thanks :wave2:

There is not many spots at DtD that are less expensive than RFC, lol! Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck's Express are, but they are more like counter service places.

We personally like Portobello Yacht Club, but it is more expensive than RFC.

Have you looked at the menus on allearsnet.com? They have complete menus of most places at WDW with prices.

I don't mind spending the same or slightly more than RFC if you get a good meal. we have never ate on site apart from the two above at DTD. Oh and we ate think when I was about 15 (over forty now :rotfl: or I should put :( ) on the boat at DTD and is was very posh back then. If you are eating elsewhere on site do you always have to book

Earl of Sandwich is really great but only a counter service. If you want a sit down dinner Bongos has good food and a fun atmosphere, also no more expensive then RFC. My DS's esp. my 13yr old loved it.

is bongos at DTD

Yes it is. It is a Cuban resturant partly owned by Golria Estefan (spelling????)
check out the menu, it is on this site.

I liked Portebello YC also, but what about Planet Hollywood???? Although some don't like it, we had a real nice dinner there a few weeks ago that was not much $$$, and covered under the Disney DP

You say you have kids, so I would recommend either Planet Hollywood or House of Blues.

Yeh 15 and 20. 20 year old wants to try Planet Hollywood. Do you know if you can get a wheelchair in. the time I passed it was like huge stairs up.

For really good food I love Portabello Yacht Club-it's really good food. For a fun "cool" atmosphere for kids and pretty good food we like House of Blues.

we like the rainforest cafe....the atmosphere is fun....and the food is really good too..

Mmmmmmmmmmm Portobello Yacht Club. That was good food.

Planet Hollywood is fun if you like Move props and Loud (soundtrack) music.

Food is very TGI Fridays

I really liked Wolfgang Puck's. It was counter service (place your order at the counter; they bring the food) but the food quality is excellent and it's reasonably priced. I really liked the BBQ chicken quesadilla - just ask for the sauces on the side (otherwise, it's drenched in sauce!).

There is an elevator. I don't remember where it is, but there is one.
