If you were a CM...

Best: Barista at Future World Starbucks (I'm already a barista at a regular Starbucks, I might as well get to watch the fountain on break right?)

Worst: Mousekeeping (Wouldn't be a bad gig, I know I just don't have the eye for detail that all WDW guests deserve)

I'd want to be a construction worker on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. They seem to have a pretty relaxed schedule.

Best for me would be any resort checkin

Worst any restaurant, especially the kitchen, but wouldn't want to be a server either.

I was.

College program at Pecos Bills Great place, but would not do food service again

If I had to pick, attractions where you Could have personality: jungle cruise, HM, ToT. But who wouldn't?

Everyone saying they wouldn't work in food or cleaning, I hope you're not the kind of people that make those jobs harder for the people that DO them ;)

Not at all, but I know that they get a LOT of grief and are often unappreciated, so I would not want to have to deal with that. I have very high respect for those who do that type of work.

Off topic: I believe everyone should work at least 1 food service job at some point in their life. It give you a whole new perspective on what it takes to make people happy.

The world would be a much greater place of everyone though back to their FS job before launching into complaint mode.

Back to topic now...

Best:
Driver at
a. Kilimanjaro Safari
b. Richard Petty Driving Experience
C. boats between MK and resorts

Worst:
Toilet brigade. :(

This is a great thread!!

OK...

Best: ride operator that rotates around to all the rides/attractions so that I can experience them all!

Worst: food service or mousekeeping

Best: Guest Services, particularly at MK. I actually enjoy helping people with problems.

Worst: Mousekeeping at any of the value resorts.

Best: Management internship at MK. I've got a friend doing one right now and he's having the time of his life.

Worst: Anything they'd hire a high school kid for minimum wage to do--food service, retail, etc. I've done my share of those jobs, I'd want something better at Disney! xD

What a fun thread! Thanks OP!!

Best: CM at the Haunted Mansion. It's always been my favorite ride

Worst: cleaning any bathrooms (either in park or at a resort)

I used to work in food service and maybe it's just because I was a college student, but those are some of my favorite work memories!

Best: Cashier at World of Disney (although I would probably spend my whole pay cheque there)

Worst: Anything outside. I have fair skin, burn easily and forget to apply sunscreen often (insert picture of lobster here LOL)

I wouldn't mind working in one of the shops at GF or as a greeter at GF or Poly.

I would not like to work in any of the restaurants, CS or TS, or customer service.

I always thought that driving the TRUCK on the safari ride would be fun...that or driving the boat on the Jungle Cruise... whatever i did, i would have to be SITTING DOWN! ;)

Broadening my thoughts.. how much fun would driving one of the cars at the STUNT show in HS? or being the guy in the Hawian shirt at Indiana Jones.. I know, I know.. i don't have the skill set for those jobs. :(

Of course, if I get my pick.. i want to be Gaston at Beauty and the Beast.. :thumbsup2

Best: Maleficent Dragon float driver in FoF... chasing after Prince Phillip on a daily basis

Worst: Fp+ iPad CM In DHS... they looked the unhappiest of all the iPad CMs we encountered last month

Best: Flights of Wonder at AK or Kali Rapids
Worst: any CS restaurant

I want to be the person that lights the fuses for the Wishes fireworks. haha

I wouldn't want to be the person that has to check all the bulbs for the Osborne light show.

Best: Fairy Godmother-in-training at BBB
Worst: Servant at Rapunzel's Tower... a.k.a. bathroom cleaner

Also good: CM at Haunted Mansion
Also bad: CM who has to tell people they can't have a DAS card
