If you were a character....

ok.. if we're going with human/near human, i'd say ariel! we've both got red hair, great voices, 2 great friends who are always there for us.. plus i'd get to be a princess!!

now if i'm going non- human, i'd say stitch. we act a lot alike..

Minnie, but I'm too tall.:guilty: I think the CM height requirement is like 5'2 :ssst: (just kidding-I don't really know, but man she's petite!) I love Minnie's house, her kitchen & the fact she sews & is a designer/computer geek while at home.:thumbsup2 I also luv me some cheese, but I try not to eat it often.

I'd love to be Alice for a day. I think it'd be fun to play musical chairs
& have tea parties a lot. party:
I'd only be Alice at Disney though, because the fictional Alice...her world, it scares me-that guy was on some serious drugs when he wrote 'Thru the Looking Glass'!:rotfl:

You know I am seriously noticing a trend here I am the only person who chose a villian. Come on doesn't anybody else secretly wish they could be a villian for a day? And face it Ursula has a cool grotto and everything!:goodvibes

I would totally love to play Cruella for a day. She gets the best lines and can vent all day long about how miserable she is, how miserable she thinks the children and their families are. . . It's like PMS with permission! :thumbsup2

But as Prince Phillip, I get the sword, the shield, and get to be with Princess Aurora. Why would I even want to be a villain? Besides that, let's take a look at how things worked out for the male villains.

Gaston: seriously annoys the girl and ends up plummeting thousands of feet to his death, thus ruining his reputation as the greatest hunter alive.

Jafar: ends up trapped in the lamp and doing the bidding of his next master, regardless of all that cosmic power.

Scar: well, he did get to rule the Pridelands, but under his reign, he nearly ruined the place and turned everybody, even his old friends the hyenas against him. And in the end, he too plummeted to his death.

So yeah, I'd be much happier as Prince Phillip ;) Did I point out that of all the princes, he's the only one who got a sword and a shield?

Plus, you get to make little princesses' dreams come true, like this:

Thanks for reminding me. Besides that when you really stop and think about it, Phillip fared the best by far of all the Disney princes(and I'm not referring to the fact that his princess is Aurora, who as we know is my favorite).

First off, he got a real name. No generic charming for this prince. Second off, he actually had to do something to get his happily ever after. Charming #1 had the dwarfs do the dirty work of killing the old hag and he just showed up, kissed the girl, and took her away on his horse from the dwarfs who had cared so much for her. Charming #2 simply sent his servant out to find the girl whose foot fit the slipper. Phillip, on the other hand, got imprisoned in a dungeon because he was such a grave threat to the evil plot, and then after his escape, the villain decided to deal with him personally and transformed herself into a dragon. And Phillilp responds to all of this by not backing down and fighting for the girl of his dreams.

Plus at Disneyland, Phillip gets that cool looking hat. :dance3:

DM, I've heard there's a great story behind the pic in your sig. Would you mind directing me to some place where I might be able to read about it?

Snow white. I'd work with my black hair, pasty white skin...but unfortunately I'm 5'1 and overweight

Sooooo pooh? LOL

:offtopic:

Sure, I always love sharing this one!

It was my youngest dd's(2 at the time) first visit to Disneyland. She didn't know what to expect, except for she knew that Sleeping Beauty's Castle was there. All the way to Disneyland in the van she kept telling us over and over that when she got to Disneyland she was going to sleep with Sleeping Beauty in her castle.

I told her that Sleeping Beauty's Castle walk-through was closed years ago, so she wouldn't be able to visit her there, but she would surely see her other places. But she kept insisiting over and over that she would sleep with Sleeping Beauty. We laughed it off and said "Sure, honey. You can just ask her when you see her."

One day when we were in the Animation Studios we saw Belle in the Princess area (used to be where Turtle Talk now sits). So we waited in line for Belle. My dd walks up and asks Belle where Aurora is and matter of factly tells her that Sleeping Beauty is her favorite and she wants to sleep with her. Belle was very gracious and told her that Aurora would be coming out next and they would arrange to have her first in line to see her. Then she kissed my dd on the LIPS! It was precious!

The handler CM put my dd first in line to see Aurora who came out right after. Dd walked right up to her gave her a huge hug and said "Can I sleep with you??"

Aurora was taken back and asked "What?" Dd repeated that she wanted to sleep with her. Aurora said "Of course!" and laid out her dress and laid down. Dd laid on top of it, closed her eyes and the picture taking commenced. They both pretended to sleep for about 30 seconds. Aurora asked dd if they could wake up. Dd said "Nope! Still sleeping!" Aurora gave her another 30 seconds or so before they woke up.

My mom and I were seriously bawling. What a magical moment for my dd and my entire family. We even heard Aurora ask the CM photographer for a copy of the picture.

The next year when we went back, we saw the same Aurora during storytelling at the Princess Shoppe. She recognized my dd and called her by name. Then she introduced her to Prince Phillip who went on and on about how Aurora had told him all about their nap time together. I caught the magical hand kiss on camera.

How they pulled that off, I have NO idea! But once again, another Disney Magical moment for dd.

Just an aside: After having the above experiences with the princesses at DLR, it is no wonder why I am not a fan of PFFT! Oh how I miss the magic when the princesses were free. Now they are prisoners of the PFF.

Anyways, thanks for letting me share that again! Like I said, I LOVE LOVE sharing the magic!

DM, I just read your story, and it brought tears to my eyes. That is the sweetest thing ever.

I started this thread, and didnt even answer my question.
Who would I be....
Maybe Alice, that way I could be totally lost in my own little head, and still be fitting the part perfectly. Besides, I would love to go on the Mad Tea Cups with Mad Hatter and White Rabbit.

DangerMouse, what a truly magical moment with Aurora! :lovestruc I love that Aurora remembered her name even a year later & had her meet the Prince!

OH, if we're going the way of picking evil Disney characters  .....I'd pick one of the evil stepsisters from Cinderella, probably the red head.:woohoo: (Only because it's not really their fault they're evil, it's their Mom's fault! That's what you get for spoiling little girls & teaching them warped values! Tee Hee!) I also like how they get to be truly obnoxious & loud, while looking like real dorks. All the while they're thinking they look beautiful! (I can relate):rotfl:

DM, Thanks for sharing that story. It was both funny and touching. Belle deserves credit for helping it all happen and I was busting up at the "nope, still sleeping line." Pricelessly funny and sweet.

I agree about the PFF. I would not want to explain to a child that you have to stand in line and then if you're lucky, you might get to your favorite princess. They do have them wandering freely around DCA so maybe that's a start.

Or maybe we'll get lucky and they'll move the Tink meet and greet to the PFF and return the princesses to their spots near the castle.

Dangermouse that is a wonderful story. She is perfect for her job. And Prince Phillip was so sweet for doing that too. And Belle she was the lady that Belle is.:goodvibes

My DH said he got an email with a link to a questionnaire that would tell you which Disney character you are most like. He deleted the email--so I don't know where to find it--but he took the survey.

His results were that he is most like...

Tinkerbell! :rotfl:

Everybody just guess. hehehhehehe
whatever gets me closer to Daisy!:lovestruc
Didja know that at WDW's Christmas party, Santa Goofy has 2 lists; naught and nice. Donald is on both.
Or I could be Captain Hook.
And isn't it odd that nobody wants to be that overrated mouse

I'd be Jane. She's smart, pretty, adventurous and has Tarzan, who could ask for more?
