are you looking toward the castle still to see the fireworks from the backside, or are they actually set up further back in the park somewhere?

Just not sure if I want to deal with the hub crowds, so unsure where we want to go watch.

We always go to IASW to watch fireworks. Sometime, we'll have to try the hub but so far no one wants to wait that long. We walk up there about 15 early and plop down on the ground in any random spot. As you are in the area facing IASW the fireworks are sort of just to your left a bit. Sometimes you will see them coming from another area, but mostly there. Also, they show things on the ride building as the fireworks go.

I don't know if they are still doing that "Memories" show on IASW before the fireworks. They made a big deal about it at first but then I haven't heard anyone mention it so maybe they let it die away.

We use to watch it from there, and then the first time we watched it from dead center of the castle we realized that is the place to be. Since then we always make the effort to get a spot there.

Pyro's are shot from Toon Town. I like them from ISAW actually. Yeah you miss the little ones that shoot from the castle, but you still see the rest. It's a totally different sound from over there too.

It's not a bad spot but as the PPs suggested it's not the premium spot to see the show from.

The high fireworks go off from behind the park, to the left and back when facing IASW. The low fireworks go off from the sides of the castle. Of couse Tinkerbell flies over the castle. This means you will be looking in two directions.

Before the fireworks on IASW the Magic, Memories and You show is happening.

Just went to DLR today. I was going to mention that Memories is still going on but skiingfast beat me to it.

We hate waiting around for fireworks for hours soon as we found out about small world we always go there 10 min before the show

We usually watch from IASW as well, andthat is a prettyu good area to view.

BUT, try watching them from main street as well, at lease once. We did when we were there last December for Christmas and it was awesome. And as soon as it was over, we turned around, headed for the main gate, veered to the left and went into the Opera house to check out the sights there and watch the short film.
