If you suddenly had extra $$$$ to spend on your Disney trip...

What would you splurge on?

At work, we occasionally get "reward points" that can be redeemed for a variety of products, gift cards, etc. I've been accumulating these points for years (I don't like to spend them because then I won't have them :teeth:). However, my employer will soon be moving to a new rewards system, so it's "use it or lose it" time.

Of the options I have for redeeming, a Disney gift card (yay!) is by far the most attractive. We have a trip coming up in the fall, for which we have already booked and paid for tickets and a garden view room at the GF (35% room discount with a BB offer). Looks like I will now have $3000+ in Disney gift card money burning a hole in my pocket. Of course, the most reasonable thing to do is put it towards the next trip, but I would also love to hear some completely unreasonable, very fun ideas for a splurge!

How about Backstage Magic Tour, Dining with an Imagineer, or the ultimate a VIP guide.

Great idea on the tours! I don't know that I could bring myself to spend the money on the private VIP tour even with the gift card, but we might just consider one of the "Ultimate Day" group tours - those sound fantastic!

Definitely a tour, an expensive restaurant, or a spa visit. Did you get Memory Maker yet? I always think of that as a splurge. Since you are staying at GF, you could do an afternoon tea. Is there an expensive souvenir, like one of the ceramic or glass figures, that you have always wanted? There's the amphicar at Downtown Disney. A Disney purse, like Dooney & Burke.

Definitely signature dining. I'd be getting the deluxe dining package and going to all of the expensive restaurants I have yet to try! Oh! ! Or creating one of the new disney Pandora charm bracelets!

Senses Spa time!
Also nice to leave some for shopping and not have to worry about going over a limit. IMO I wouldn't spend it on a tour unless you have the extra time for that.

If it was my wife and I without kids we would do the backstage magic tour. If the Richard Petty exotic cars were still in operation, that would be on my wish list as well.

If we took the kids, we would give both daughters the Bibbi Bobbidi Boutique treatment.

You sound like you have a great trip already bought & paid for! So....if it were me, I'd spend a little and then bank that gift card for a return trip!

Ohhhh $3,000 extra smackeroos...hmmm... let's see...

Definitely do the nighttime safari at AKL (where we'll be staying on our next trip), since we're both night owls anyway, I think it would be cool to see the animals at nighttime.
Spa day. Mos def. I'd go all out (deep tissue massage, facial, mani/pedi).
And I'd probably add 1 or 2 day tickets to our trip. I typically buy the 4-day tickets w/park hopper, and our trips are usually 6-7 days, so it'd be nice to have the option of dining in the parks instead of having non-park days.
I'd use the rest to splurge on souvenirs (coffee mugs, country-specific stuff at WS, and jewelry).
