If you pay dues monthly - can you add a gift card payment during the year?

I have paid dues both ways - all at once with GC and then monthly. I am on the monthly payments currently. In December i had leftover GC from our Nov trip so I applied them to my dues account. Now it doesn't have me owing a payment until April.

I am wondering if I purchase some discount GC am i able to apply them to my dues account during the year?

Yes. If you select "Pay By Contract' you can 'Pay Other Amount' which has the following footnote.

I always pay January-March using GCs, then I pay off my dues in April using GCs. I'm not sure I've ever noticed what's in the blue box in your post. Does that just mean I can't pay the whole amount in January using a GC? I have to break it into at least two payments for the year?

No, it just means you have to use a Disney GC or a Disney Rewards card — you can’t use a credit card or other kind of gift card.

You can actually pay with a credit card now. I just checked the website and you can use 3 options now, Disney GC, Disney Redemption Card (Visa), and a credit card.

I just made partial payments with Disney GC this morning, and the note re making partial payments with GC & reward cards only was there. To use a credit card I would have had to pay the entire amount instead of the partial payment I wanted to make.

You are correct, just tried to do it, but when I tried to use a credit card in the drop down menu it gave me the warning about only using GC and Redemption Cards.

We actually use a Jetblue credit card at BJ's to buy discount GC to pay dues monthly, so we get 4-5% off the gift cards and the points for flights.

That's it. Use your CC to buy GCs. Then you get cashback points AND discounts on GCs. I get 19% back buying Disney GCs from my local Kroger.

Wish we had a Kroger's or Costcos around here, but unfortunately we don't, BJ's is the best discount I can find in my neighborhood.
