If you HAVE to choose only one

I'd rather go during

  • Mid September when most school starts

  • The last 2 weeks of October

  • The first 2 weeks of December

  • I'd rather hit my head with a brick

If you HAVE to choose only one time period to visit WDW,
which would you choose?

Mid September (a week after school starts), End of October (October 18th to 30th), Beginning of December (December 1st through 12th)?

Forget about MNSSHP, forget about MVMCP, I'm just talking about crowd level during the day.

First two weeks of December - nice cool weather (maybe) and low crowds. That's a winning combination!

Mid-Sept would have the lowest crowd levels, IMHO. I have been early Dec a couple times & the weekdays are fine, but long weekends are a big draw for the Christmas themeing.
So, if you are talking strictly attendance levels, I'd go with Mid-Sept.

We went last year the week after Thanksgiving and it was not busy at all. One place I would totally reccommend is Universal. When the wait for the Hulk is how fast you can walk through the lines, it is a really good day.

Also, there tends to be less rides in for rehab at that time since they are up from the busy Thansgiving weekend through the holidays. At least this is what I noticed over the last year.

Been there 3 times during the first two weeks of December. Easy touring, but weather is hit or miss. Be prepeared for anything.

Blessings :)

I chose September because I love the warm=heat. I live where is doesnt get a lot of that hot weather so I love it on vacation.

things that go BUMP in the night

I think for crowd level, the September dates might work for you(bearing in mind that "after school starts" dates vary a bit). However, it will still be plenty darned hot in September. I would go in December when there might be a few more people, but the weather is generally very mild. Decorations at the holidays are a nice plus.

I've never done it, but I'd sooo like to go in early December to see the decorations and enjoy the warmth. It's plenty cold in Illinois in December. Sadly, the school won't let us go for more than three days... although that would make a nice quick five day trip.

Hmmmmmmm
