About how long does it take Disney to issue your refund if you have to cancel?

I'm aware of the cancellation fees, but I was wondering how many days approximately they take to credit your card.

Well, I always pay my trips in cash (debit), and every time I cancel it takes 4 days. But it all depends on the bank/card. Disney credits your card right then and there.

Disney refunds the card within 24-48 hours. The rest of the time its your bank sitting on the money

When we had to cancel our July 2006 trip we were told it could take up to two billing cycles to get our money, however we had it back in our back account within days.

I am due a refund & was told by CM it would be 7 to 10 working days. So0 far not showing on any of my cards that I used If not by next Monday I will call back But usually within a couple of days depending if that CM did it correctly

It took no more than 5 business days when I had to cancel my sister's room-only ressie (I used my debit card).

I had to cancel our June, 2008 Wilderness Lodge reservation. The CM was very nice and told me it could take up to two billing cycles to show up on my credit card. My credit card is also a debit card so I was sure it wouldn't take very long for me to get the credit. It didn't, it took about 6 or 7 days.

However, be aware that, if you used more than one card to make payments on the vacation, they will have to credit each payment back to each card.

I used my credit/debit card to pay 17 payments on the vacation package. I used my husband's credit/debit card to pay the other 21 payments on the account. (It just depended on who happened to have their credit card handy when I was making a payment).

I got my $200.00 deposit back within just a few days. The payments I made on my credit/debit card credited back to my account on either day 5 or 6 . The payments I made on my husband's credit/debit card credited back on day 6 or 7.

I think the reason we got our's back so fast was because we had used credit/debit cards. If I had used our credit card, I am sure it would have taken longer.

That has nothing to do with Disney. They release the funds within 72 hours. Ive seen banks hold the money for 3 months though.

i canceled my ressie on 4/7 ( to rebook with free dining) and the first part of my trip went back one on card 4/10 the second went back on to the other card 4/11. the cm said it would take about 7-10 business days so i scheduled my calendar for 4/18 to check my accounts but clearly wasnt an issue. of course all CC/Banks handle the refunds differantly once it reaches their account systems but on Disney's end i would say they get it out within 48 business hrs.
