Well...... could you breif her on the story line cause there will be thing like characters that reapear and references that may go over her head. Personally I'd rent it for her the day before so she's not lost. Gosh that's hard to type and not give away what happens. My mom was wishing she was home she wanted to go see the 2nd one with us. It's really funny and the jokes go over the younger kids heads. My 6 and 3 yr olds loved it.
