If you have been dreamed at DLR - Post here!

I was dreamed at Triton Gardens
at just before 11 am
and my dream was Dream FP'S!!!
Here is my story: It was our first day at the parks (first trip too!) so I was putting all my Dis research to good use! We had just done FL rides, and decided to try and race over to TL to see Buzz (this was before I knew my 5 year old was, to quote him, "shy of the characters" and wouldn't go near ANY of them!!!) It was just before 11, and Buzz started greeting @ 11, so we were in a rush and wanted to get there quick, so we took the "shortcut" thru Triton Gardens. I didn't realize that the walkway was narrow and hard to navigate with our side by side double stroller, so I was concentrating so hard on my driving that I didn't notice the Dream Team there till they began shoving the prizes under my nose! We all got them, even my 1 yr old DD (she loved the silver twist tie the strings were wrapped with!:hippie: ) We were in line for Buzz (the ride, not the greet - the lines were halfway out of TL by the time we got over there!! So we opted for the ride instead!) before I got a good look at what we were given! I was so excited!! Our first trip, our first day, and our first DREAM!!!:wizard: I had to explain what they were to Dh, however, and he was pretty impressed when I told him the stories I had read on the Dis, and how some people had been there a ton of times and were never Dreamed - he began then to appreciate how lucky we had been!

I was dreamed at exit to BTMRR
at around 10ish - I don't remember the exact time....
and my dream was an after hours party at DL!!! (didn't know what it was at the time....
Here is my story: It was actually Ds and Dh that got the dream - the yunguns and I were waiting and playing with the ducks outside the exit to BTMRR waiting for the oldest boys to be done their ride. it was a pleasantly warm morning, so we were just enjoying the sunshine and quiet of early morning at Frontierland, and we noticed two CM's handing out prizes to those getting off BTMRR. In my ignorance, I thought they were just the FP's again, which would have been great, don't get me wrong, but we didn't really use most of them the previous day (lines just weren't long enough to need FP's), so I wasn't too excited. When dh and ds got off the ride and were each handed one of the last few cards, I was excited for them, though. But when dh brought his over for me to see, I noticed they weren't FP's, but something called an "after hours" pass, which I only vaguely remember being mentioned here on the Dis as some after the park closes party type of thing. But since only 2 out of the 5 of us had passes, I told dh he should just give them back ( what was I thinking!!!???) since we couldn't all go. In the meantime, the DT were packing up, but one of the CM's explained to my dh that if we all went back to City Hall and explained that we weren't ALL awarded the passes, and told them where and what time we had encountered the DT, they would give the rest of our party the passes too. So off we wandered to City Hall, me still not realizing what a fabulous prize I had in my furry little hands!! We actually considered at one point in the day not even using them, or giving them away (double :scared1: ), since it had been a long day (MM) and the kids weren't used to staying up late and it probably wouldn't really be something they'd enjoy (still thinking it was the party kind of idea). Only after they explained that we'd have the park to ourselves for one whole hour after closing did I realize what an amazing prize it really was!!!

I was dreamed at walkway between TL and Tomorrowland Terrace
at about 10:30
and my dream was Dream FP's again!!
Here is my story: DD and I were waiting for the boys to be done riding Star Tours when I noticed the DT on the walkway. We wandered over, and were one of the last people to get DFP's. I explained that there were others in our party, and asked if there were any way to get them some FP's too (remembering our After Hours Pass experience) but I was kindly told that we had to all be PRESENT to win. Of course, by the time the boys got off their ride, the DT were long gone, but most of the FP rides were not suitable for youngest ds and dd anyway, so dh and oldest ds rode a few of the rides while we did other, more age appropriate ones! So only having 2 DFP's was still way better than none at all!! And what a way to end our final day at DL!!!

^^I was dreamed in the exact same spot at about the same time as Mommyof 2boys1girl! I'd been to the park several time during the YOAMD and never saw the dream team even once! Then on my last trip on May 3rd, 2008 I spotted the dream team at Triton's Garden and told my group "Come on, follow me! They thought I had spotted Ariel but it was much better than that! The dream team was handing out fastpasses!!! I was so excited to finally win something!

A CM told me the Disney Visa Meet and Greet was over by the vineyard(which I suspected was wrong), but when I got there I did find the Dream Squad and they gave me dream fastpasses after directing me to where the Meet and Greet was, so "wrong" directions turned out to be quite nice.

Just got home from our first trip to Disneyland and had Magical Moments twice in the same day...

The first in DCA. Toy Story Mania was doing a cast member preview but I didn't notice until we walked up. I started chatting with a CM asking if they were going to open early and she said no still planned for June 17th. I told her this was our first trip and we were from Chicago so I did not know when we were going to be back.

She then said lets make some magic follow me. She added us to the line and let the other CM's know we were her Magical Moment and we got to ride.

FYI it is awesome!!!

Later in the evening we were at Nemo at DL. We have been trying to ride this all week either the line was toooooo long or the morning we used magical morning it was down for several hours. This was our last day of our trip and our flight was at 6 the next morning so we couldn't stay out too late.

I asked the CM how long the wait was he said about 45 mins to an hour. The line would be shorter around midnight and check back then. I told him we were flying home at 6 and there was no way we could stay out that late. We started to walk away when he told us he was making some magic and put us right on the ride.

It was my son's birthday and he was decked out in pins, birthday ears and such. I think that helped us.

I was dreamed at : the exit (hallway) of Buzz Lightyear's AstroBlasters
at: about 10:15 am, Friday, 6/6/08
and my dream was: Dream Fastpasses
My story: We spent 6 days at the parks and this was our last day. Earlier in the week as we were entering the bag check line, a lady asked my nephew if he wanted some dream ears she had received walking thru DD. So far, that was as close as we had gotten to being dreamed. We had planned on spending our last morning at Huntington Beach and then the evening at DL. Instead we switched plans and had breakfast with Stitch at PPH before heading into the parks, intending to park hop between the parks. It was about 9:45 when we entered the park. We walked over to Space to get a FP, then went to watch for Buzz Lightyear to make an appearance for photos. When we didn't find him around his 10am time, we decided to hop on the ride since the wait was about 10 minutes. As we exited, two female DT members were in the hallway passing our DFPs!! Needless to say, we were so excited and they made parkhopping much more managable. We managed to use all of the tabs except the Space Mountain (they had closed the queue when we tried to use them because the wait was up to 100 minutes)

My dream story:

I was dreamed at: pirates of the carribean
at: morning (believe around 9:30)
and my dream was: dream fastpasses
Here is my story: We always usually hit pirates first since they changed it with Jack sparrow etc. And it was during President's week this past February. We had gone on it and as we were exiting we saw the dream members standing by the exit handing them out. I have always wanted them and never thought I would get them. The very next day we saw them giving them out at Pooh and tried to get them but they stopped before we got off the ride.

We have also stopped and talked to dream team members and been given the tink pins and had a dream team member give us the special seating for fantasmic. This is not the desert seating but rather seating in a special roped off area where you just have to show up about a half hour before and you can sit behind the fences without having to be there early. We have also been given fastpasses by castmembers that have no expiration and are good on any ride for up to 6 people and we had one great dream team member that we talked to for a long time and he walked us over to splash and got us on it and he even rode on it with us.

So we have been very fortunate. Sometimes it helps just to sit and talk to them and just be friendly. :)

How do you know if you were dreamed? Do they tell you? Because some CM gave my kids mini binoculars and Ariel sticker tattoos, and chatted a little with our kids & DH... we had hoped it would be the Dreamsquad, but that was it!
Did this happen to anyone else?
THis also happend around 10-11 am DCA after we greeted with Minnie & Mickey! All 3 our our kids were in princess dresses too...

We were dreamed yesterday (6/8/09) in the walkway from the Carnation Gardens to Fantasyland with Dream Fastpasses at about 8:30 a.m.

Sounds to me like that was just a very nice CM. I had a CM give me an extra pin to trade after I traded with her and when she figured out that I loved Sleeping Beauty, she went back and searched for more Sleeping Beauty pins and gave me one of Flora that she did find(they were out of Aurora).

If they dream you, they'll give you some sort of YOMD prize like the exclusive pins, the Dream Fastpass, or something like that.

Love to read everyones fun stories of being dreamed! Our family was dreamed in February. My DH and 2 DD were exiting Tarzans tree house and were given dream fastpasses. And where was I? In the bathroom! Luckily the dream team told my husband that after he had collected me from the bathroom he could take me to city hall, explain what happened and they would get a fast pass for me too. They were great about it. It was a great day to have the fast passes. It was a busy friday and our last day there so we were able to do a lot of rides we wouldn't have had time for otherwise.

On Monday, we were at DCA at the opening. My 4 year old LOVES the Monsther's Inc ride( we rode it 4 times on Saturday evening). We decided to go to that ride first after rope drop and when we got there, the CM's were standing in front of the door. They asked all the kids to come up to the front. The child who screamed the loudest got to go on the ride first and then could come back with all day and ride at the exit. DD won and got a certificate. We were soo proud of her. In honor of that, we bought her a stuffed Boo doll.

At 11 AM, we were on our way back to Monster's Inc to ride it again, when we were given dream passes for the character meet and great.

Geez, where have I been?!! Since they started this in 2005, I've been to WDW twice and DL several times, and I have never even ONCE witnessed this!! I was beginning to think the Dream Squad was a big myth! Heh. I hope we at least get to see someone get something this time, even if it isn't us. :thumbsup2

In april i was there with my mom and we were havin a bummin trip. Things with Paradise Pier and just certain things were making it a bummer kind of trip.but the second to last day the hotel gave us 250 credit and a free breakfast with Lilo & Stich. AND i found the sweatshirt in my size that everybody was out of AND we came off snow white in the morning and BAM we were dreamed with fast passes! We had no need to use them because the lines were fairly short.:thumbsup2

Me tooo! I just would like to see it happen once! although i did see a couple people actually wearing the dreamfastpass lanyard, i never saw the actually awarding of it. love hearing these stories!

-trying real hard not to be a skeptic! ;)

We were dreamed in April ~ 1st thing in the morning, we were the 1st to ride Matterhorn, as we exited the ride we were dreamed with the lanyards ~ I thought it was pretty neat that one of the dreamers was named Shannon (like me).

Here's where we've been dreamed (in reverse order)

5/19 (Mon)DCA Under Hollywood Studios sign between Monsters Inc. and Hyperion Theater. about 1/2 hr after opening. Dream FP
5/7 (Wed.) DCA on bridge at Pacific Wharf about hour after opening. Dream FP
3/9 (Sunday) DL by King Triton near Buzz ride. About 1-1/2 hrs. after park opening. Dream FP-saw a couple with them and asked where they got them-then we ran for it.
2/11 (Mon) DL-Hats as exiting Indy ride. First thing in the a.m. Also, extra hour in DCA behind S.S. Rustworthy (near Burger Invasion) about noon.
End of Jan. Weekday Our First Dream FP as we exited Indy ride-first thing in the a.m. Didn't really need them that day but it was great to finally have won something! :cloud9:

Usually after I get a Dream FP I tell a few people in the area-It's surprising how many don't know what they are, or just don't care. :confused3 I asked some girls a few weeks ago where they got their hats, they told us and said they weren't giving them out any more and then offered us 2 of the 3 they got. We glad accepted them. :goodvibes

I'm going tomorrow and I'll be checking out the area around Monsters Inc and Visa Meet 'n Greet to see if I can get a Dream FP. On 5/28 we just missed getting on there. Also doing preview of Toy Story Mania. :goodvibes

Haven't seen anything big given away, or pins, or lanyards. Maybe we'll be one of the big winners tomorrow-someone has to win, why can't it be us?;) Also, never saw anything given away in Sept. at WDW last year. This year I'm going to be more on the lookout and also try to get to the parks earlier-it seems to be the best way to win.

My dream story:

I was dreamed at: Next to the Buzz Lightyear ride, in that little 'hidden' courtyard.
at: About 9 a.m.
and my dream was: Fastpass lanyards
Here is my story: My family and I had just gotten off Space Mountain and were walking when we see an older man coming from that little courtyard thing next to Buzz Lightyear. He says there "were some very nice young ladies handing out these necklaces back through there," so my family and I go back and sure enough there are some CMs handing them out! We approach, they say "congratulations" and all that, and off we went with our prize. :goodvibes

It was really awesome. ::yes::

On Sunday morning around 9:30, 2 of us were riding Pooh and won dream ears. That same morning, around 9:45, the other half of our family won Dream Fast Passes coming off Splash Mountain!

On Monday morning we were passing Ariel's grotto and looked to see if she was in. She wasn't -- it was too early I guess -- but guess who was! Yep, more Dream Fast Passes for us!!!

All in all, it made for a really fun trip full of surprises!

We have had several Dreams
Lanyards going into Turtle Talk around 12:30
Lanyards walking through DTD around 2:30 by Build A Bear
Pin Trading with a CM in Carnation Plaza ended up with special seating to Billy and the Hillbillys at around 1:30
still hoping for that Dream Fast Pass or stay in the apartment but we have been very, very lucky!

We won DFP last Oct. on a Sunday morning around 10:30-10:45 in front of the Mission Tortilla Factory at DCA.

We had gone to DCA in order to do the Visa meet and greet and spend just a couple more hours in the parks before planning to head out around noon that day to come back to Las Vegas. After the meet and greet we decided to stop by to get a warm and delicious tortilla and I noticed what I thought were dream team members with the DFPs in their hands. Like an idiot, I asked "Are you the dream team?" to which they responded, "yes, of course we are!" They gave each of us, including DS 7weeks a DFP. We continued on to get our tortillas and then I went back to take their picture for my scrapbook. I was surprised to see how many people who weren't in the know that just walked by or said no thanks when offered the DFPs!

Sadly, we had to leave just a few hours later, but managed to use the Space Mountain and ToT ones first. And now, I am excited to take them back with us on our trip in 2 months, as I have heard several other people have been able to use "expired" DFPs in recent months.
