If you had to exclude 1 of the 4 Disney Parks which one and why?

Me too! We enjoy EPCOT, but it was last on my children's and husband's list with the exception of Test Trak!

If I had to skip 1 park, it would be AK as that is our least favorite of the 4. However, you can easily do 1/2 days at both AK & MGM and still see many of the main attractions.

We make it a habit to visit a zoo in each major city that we visit. We love animals and their antics. That said, we did not care for Animal Kingdom. I thought that we would LOVE this park and dislike Epcot. It was the total opposite. All the kids liked Epcot! We plan to skip Animal Kingdom on our next trip.

I say sample all four parks and leave the last day open to go back to the one that you liked the most. Your preference isn't something that you can plan. You have to experience the parks for yourself and decide after you're there.

Definately Epcot---Unless you enjoy eating from all different places and spending money on souveniers. To our family it was just boring---We like excitement.

I don't think I could skip a park! If it's possible I would try hopping--allow a full day for MK and hop around the rest! In trip planning, I've often thought about doing a short trip and the possibility of skipping a park. I just can't do it! There is something at each park I feel dh and I (or our 4 yo ds) can not miss. MK we do most everything. AK--safari, Rafiki's Planet Watch. MGM--TOT, RNRRC, Playhouse Disney, Muppets 3-D, and meeting Toy Story Characters. Epcot--TT, Mission Space (hopefully!), Norway (ds favorite!) plus we just love the atmosphere there! Those aren't the only things we do at each park, just the things we don't want to miss! Think about hopping--it may work for you.:D

It depends on the ages. We absolutely loved AK with our 3 year old and 5 year old and we didn't even go to the zoo part. We loved the shows and my kids really wanted to go back. Next time we go we are skipping Epcot. MGM was my favorite (I loved the ToT and RnRC). My kids adored playhouse disney and ariel. the muppets 3D was my fave 3D movie. Oh and the would have played for hours at honey I shrunk the kids set. We didn't even get to finish this park and I was so sad to leave it. Magic Kingdom was our last pick because it was just so crowded compared to the other parks.

If I had to skip one park it would EPCOT! The world showcase is boring and after a couple of times seeing Inventions that's enough. If you have hopper passes you could do AK and Epcot both - each a half a day.
I would never consider missing MGM (our favorite park) or Magic Kingdom.
Whatever you choose have a GREAT time, and if you miss on park on this trip then you can start planning the next trip.

I say AK as well. I can't get my boys even near it after their experience in "A Bug's Life"! They absolutey freaked! I will say on my next trip the end of the month I am splitting day between EPCOT during the day (Future World closes at 6pm) and MK at night for one of the days. ( It is an eride night and the MK park is open until 10pm for resort guests with an additionally bought ticket for $12) I kind of plan my itinerary around the hours of the parks to see which is opened and closed at what times and make my plans accordingly. Hope this helps. Remember, park hopper unused days never expire and if you can hit two parks in one day you're ahead of the game!
Have a great trip!

MGM is a great one day park and it's got stuff for adults and kids. Mostly geared toward pre-teens and upwards. There are some nice rides and lots of pixie dust.

MK is for all ages and can be mostly covered in a day with some selective planning of what you can do without and what you just must do. Pixie dust abounds.

AK is a must do for us. It's for all ages with a nice balance of kiddie stuff and adult stuff. If you love animals and great shows, this is a must do park. It's also another good one day park.

Epcot.....for me this is a park that can be skipped if you are touring with minimal days available. The place is HUGE. It's geared more towards adults overall. I love it, but if you don't have enough time to spend there, you really feel bad that you shorted it on time. I would say to hold off on this park until you can go and have a day and a half to two days to spend there and do it justice.

I would skpi AK in a heartbeat, we spent half a day there in 2 weeks...I really don't like it. After making 5 trips in 18 months, you can only walk the jungle trails so many times. but this being said, I'm not a fan of animals at all.
MK is just SOOO much more crowded than the other parks, it annoys me SOOO bad!
MGM I love! I could just walk around there and be happy! :) I love RnR,TZToT and GMR and Muppets!
Epcot is my favorite park and we spend most of our time there, we go once a day! it helps that we just walk over from BCV or BWV...lol. WS is amazing, I didn't realize how much there is to do there!

I would say, if you want to do AK, do a half day(you can get pretty much everything done), and switch over to another park. Definately tkae advantage of the park hoppers!

if you split your days like we did you'll be fine.
we had days left on our hopper.
day 1--we went to mk about 9:30 then about it started to rain so off to epcot only to waste time in innoventions.
this has computers and games.
everytime we go to epcot the kids waste toooo much time here so we figured fo 45min. they can do this.
it closes at 7.
then we walked to the gateway and walked back to bwv.
day2 off to animal kingdom got our fast passes-we really enjoy this park. left for mgm about 3:15.
we don't really care for this park--did rrrc 2 times and drew carey and back lot and great movie ride and a few others and saw the 10:30 fantasmic show.
day 3 went to epcot about 1.
we did spaceship earth mission space and test track.
ate in china and mexico walked around the countries and ate in japan and saw the night time show.
the lines are long but plan your day try to get fast pass early they ran out by noon on most big attractions.

Unless you've got young kids with you, skip MK. It's stroller capitol of the world, I swear. When we went to WDW in January no one, from my 7 year old cousin, to my grandma, wanted to stick around in that horrible crowd for very long. Of course, we'd gone to Disneyland many a time before we went there, so it wasn't much loss to us.

We would skip Epcot. There are a few things we like to do there but if we didnt have time to hit it no one in my family would be to upset. We love MK, MGM and AK.

Epcot.

AK is our 2nd fav after MK. We easily spend the entire day there.

This is what I would do...

Day one... Magic Kingdom. If you spend the whole day, into the evening you should be able to see everything obvious that is in that park. (use Fastpass, where you can)

Day two...Disney Studios in the beginning. When you have seen everything that you think is interesting, Park Hop to Epcot. Future world is uncrowded at night and you can get on everything without a wait. If you still have time, go to World Showcase....a must see is American Adventure.

Day three...Animal Kingdom in the morning and back to Epcot or Magic Kingdom the rest of the day. Or maybe even both. If there is some part of MK that you missed, see that, and then "Hop" the monorail to Epcot for more World Showcase and Illuminations.

It is tight but doable. I just did it that way last year.

When I was there I went to all of them. I only did AK for a couple of hours. I did it the day I went to Blizzard Beach. I went from Blizzard to AK and had a late lunch. Went on a couple of rides, looked around and them went back to my hotel to get ready for dinner. You do not need a lot of time there but it is definitely worth seeing for a couple of hours. The Tree of Life is beautiful and the Rapids ride is a lot of fun and cools you off.

I could skip MGM or AK What if you did AK for half the day and then MGM for the other half? It's doable.

I would skip EPCOT. We don't have too much fun there. No way could I skip MK and miss seeing the castle. MGM is DH and my favorite park. We enjoy RnR and ToT too much to ever skip that. We usually end up going back a few different days.

It will be a long time before we go back to AK, We like tarzan rocks and lion king is alright. This park is just toooo hot and not enough for our interest to suffer thru it. We did 2 wks in disney in july and only spent a few hrs at AK.

While at MGM make sure you see Beauty and the Beast. We all thought it was one of the best shows we ever seen, and we had just gotten off the wonder. Even husband loved it and he doesn't usually care for live preformances.
