Which one would it be.

A 'what if' topic.

If you had one day in MK and could only choose to meet characters OR go on the rides which would it be and why?

Oh my gosh, sunshine, you almost made my head explode! My two favorite things to do at WDW are the rides and the autograph collecting (with several hugs and pictures applied liberally as needed)! Our modus operandi on each trip is to trek to rides/attractions, but as soon as we see a character meet and greet, everything gets put on hold for those. Then once the characters have all been met or dispersed, back on to whatever attraction we were heading to.

If I could only pick one? Oh geez... I can't do it. This is going to plague me all night!

Hahaha.
Have a think!

Rides. Before kids (and on our kid-less trip), we only met characters are Crystal Palace...otherwise, it's no big deal.
My little ones would choose characters....Before we went last year, they didn't even realize there were rides!

Rides for sure.

I did love seeing DD meet her favourite characters (Mulan especially), but I can't imagine going to WDW and not going on rides !

When i went to Disneyland Paris last month i spent most of the day meeting characters and looking in the shops. I didnt get on my first ride until 3pm!

I have never done that before.

Before having kids I would have said rides...now....I really can't choose. The characters are a huge part of the magic with my family!!

We had a day like this 3 years ago....it was a simple choice really. We only went on It's a small world. All of our other time was spent looking for princesses. And worth every minute!

Rides. I never went to Disney as a young child, by the time I went I didn't care about the characters. Took my nephew at 5 and he was never big into many of the characters even before going. He knew them, and enjoyed seeing them at character meals but didn't really care to meet them. He did want to meet buzz and woody though.

We find what works best for us is schedule a character meal or two (and honestly that's not necessary any more, but they are fun) then use the parks for rides. It's a perfect strstegy for us.
