Beg, borrow or steal and get your self to "West Side Story". Probably too late for the previews in DC, but it opens on Broadway in February. I just saw it at the National in DC...

Phenomenal. Everyone in the cast was really REALLY good, but we thought "Anita" & "Riff" were both incredible. If some of the actors or the show don't win Tonys, they got robbed.

I don't often give standing ovations, but I did tonight. And I didn't care if no one else in the theatre stood up. That cast deserved it. The set was interesting and had some technical twists that I didn't see coming, the pit orchestra was incredible - the conductor...wow.

Get thee to Broadway. You'll be glad you did.

We have the tickets...now I'm really excited! I watched it twice on cable last night & saw it the last time it was on Broadway!

Next week I see Spring Awakenings before they close:sad2:

Glad to hear the great review! We are definitely going to see this when it opens on Broadway! :thumbsup2

I've been looking for tickets since they went on sale. I can't buy tickets in row Q of the orchestra though, I just can't, and that's all they seem to have. I looked as far as the end of May.

OMG, I didn't know that WSS is on broadway. That is my all-time favorite musical and I got to play in the pit orchestra for a community orchestra last year and the music is fabulous!!!
