If you could travel and visit anywhere...Where would it be?

I am a bit a of history fan I would love to visit Eygpt...see the pyramids, the temples, the nile ect... Just the thought that these things have been there for so many thousands of years I find incredible.
2nd would be Greece
3rd would be The Holy Land

About the only compromise I can reach with my wife without getting this Would be Italy, at least I could see Rome

If I could go anywhere, I'd want to go on safari in Africa - maybe Kenya or South Africa! I think that would be so awesome. We almost did it as part of our honeymoon, but we ended up going to Morocco instead. We absolutely loved Morocco, but I still want to do a safari someday.

Greece would probably be my second choice because of the history. Also, we spent a month in Malta and we absolutley loved that region, so I would think Greece would be sort of similar.

For years I have really wanted to go to Ireland (that is what my ancestry is).

Well, this summer I decided that in 3 years, I am TAKING my mother to see Ireland, and to find some of our roots. I have a special savings account that I have $$$$ direct deposited in, and by the time the trip rolls around, I will have plenty. My mom already has a passport, and is retired, so I will truly be able to surprise her.

I have always wanted to see that Country. Both it's ancient history and current living conditions fascinate me. It's exotic and different than anything I've already seen.

Israel

As the center of major Religions and history, it would be great to visit. I have studied comparative Religions and a visit to this Country would be part of that education.
