If you could pick the week which would you choose?

Hey Diser's,
I need help. I have tw0 weeks I can choose 2/9-2/18 or 2/16-2/25 2007. Which would you choose? The first week would be cheaper rates (right before peak season), however, the parks close earlier. The second week is President's Week. Let's here your thoughts. I hate crowds, it will be just me, my DD (6), DS(13), and DS(10). Price doesn't bother me too much.

You answered your own question. Since you hate crowds, you should avoid Presidents' week and go down the week before. Since price doesn't bother you, you the money you save to treat yourself to something special.

Definetly the 1st week would be the best. We've gone then before and LOVED it. You might have chilly mornings but we even swam some days. It might close early but crowds are great so you don't have to rush.

I think our NEXT week vacation after this years will be in Feb again.. its just a great time to go.

I agree with above posters........the less crowded the parks are....the more you can accomplish during the hours they ARE open. Go for the first week!

We just got back today. Stayed 2/2 through 2/8. The crowds were extremely light!! Weather was a bit wet but no biggie!!

we have gone every year at this time (your first week choice). We love it. In fact, we leave in two days....

I would definitely agree with the first week. We have never encountered a LARGE crowd and of the five years we have been going we have enjoyed the pool several days.

I am glad to hear the crowds have been light. We are leaving in the morning for 2 days at the parks ~ we leave for home Saturday so we will avoid that Saturday crowd that we always run into.
