If you could own at 3 wdw resorts, which three?

We own at PVB and AKV and love them. Our third pick would probably be BWV, but the end date kills it. We are now looking forward to seeing Reflections.

I would buy one MK resort, one Epcot resort and one "out there resort". This way I could do split stays and always stay near the park I intend to visit.

For the MK I'd probably say BLT for the convenience, but I'll stay there for the first time this September and I'm not entierly convinced about the theming. If I end up not liking it, the second best for me would be VGF.

As an Epcot resort, I'd go with BWV, for better views, the chance of the standard rooms and easier walk to DHS. While I like Stormalong bay, I prefer the theming and slide at the Luna Pool.

The "out there" category includes AKV, SSR and OKW. AKV is one of my favorite resorts overall, so I'd buy there, but SSR with DS in walking distance is nearly as attractive.

The reality is that I own SSR and I've been able to use my points to sleep around with quite some success. So until now I haven't felt the need to own multiple resorts.

I agree. I own @ BCV. I would add VGF & OKW.

My 3, and I own at 2 of them:

1) Boardwalk (Bought in 2000)
2) VGF (Bought in 2013)
3) Copper Creek ( won’t buy, things got too damn expensive)
Will rent points when staying there.

My wife and I were also thinking of staying at Grand Floridian next year to try it out. Hopefully doing a poly vgf split stay

I have to say, in my personal opinion, copper Creek has the nicest rooms out of all the resorts. They are all nice no doubt, but copper Creek feels a bit more homey, cozy feeling, while still being really nice.

Resale prices aren't bad for bwv, and as long as you save money, it worth it regardless of end date. My wife and I are seriously considering adding on at bwv within a year or two

I'd buy where home resort priority is most important. I already own at BWV and VGF, and if I bought at another resort -- it'd probably be Beach Club. I just love the walk to Epcot. More realistically, I would just buy more points at BWV. I love staying at AKV but home resort priority isn't as important to me there, as I'm fine with spending more points for savanna views.

We currently own at AKV and BCV and are happy, for now especially since we like to stay club level each year so we really do need to own at AKV for that to even be a possibility.

Up until this year I would have said The Grand Californian, but Disneyland has become way too expensive for us and how we like to vacation (even though we live within a 6ish hour drive).

We love CCV, but there are some downsides that we aren't willing to look past right now when we really don't need the points. I do love walking to MK, so BLT is very attractive, but I don't think my husband really enjoyed the resort much when we stayed there, and the only thing I really like about it is the walking ability to MK and the extra bathroom in the one and two bedrooms, and we can already get that at Kidani.

We own at BLT, VGF and RIV, so ...

If I had a time machine, I probably would have bought: BWV, BLT and VGF before 2016. And if I already owned BWV or BCV, I don't think we would have bought RIV. I've always been curious about AKV, but since it seems like it's still pretty easy to get rooms there so long as you don't expect to get value or club level rooms, I don't see a need for it. We will stay there someday, but right now we are enjoying using our points at our home resorts.

BWV (own) and BLT (own). I’m happy with both but prefer BWV. I’m obsessed with the std rooms at both resorts.

I’ve been eyeing poly for years now. We love poly. For bang for the buck, however, I would probably do SSR. If I didn’t care about money, then Poly, GCV or GFV, with Poly edging over the others bc I love poly.

1. VGF - Love the rooms and being on the monorail.
2. Beach Club - Would love to have some points here but buying now with so few years left makes it difficult at the current cost. Love the access to EPCOT, HS, the whole boardwalk area, and the pool.
3. BLT - Love the walk to MK and the rooms are very nice and quiet. Would have put Poly over this but we love staying in 1 and 2 bedroom villas.

We own 2 currently- Boardwalk- love the close proximity to Epcot & DHS and also love the resort and own at SSR- love the sereneness here. If we were to choose another I would probably say BLT love the one bedrooms there and also the convenience to MK

My wishlist is BCV (where we own now), OKW, and VGF. (If Poly had 1 and 2br, that would be a contender vs VGF. Or if we went to DL more often, then VGC.)

We have 4 home resorts: Poly, BWV, BRV and HHI.
BWV is my overall favorite...love the point chart and the feel of the resort. Of course being close to both Epcot and Hollywood studios doesn't hurt!
I love Poly as well. I think it actually has the best location at Disney world. It's on the monorail for MK access and is so convenient to walk to the TTC for Epcot and then Hollywood studios access. I also love the feel of the resort and the rooms!
I also love the overall vibe at wilderness Lodge and the location is great!
HHI is my least favorite and if I had to give one up this would definitely be the one!
I personally love something about every one of the WDW DVC resorts!

Owning at three is our current plan. We bought direct at CCV (I kind of regret that now) and just bought resale at Poly. We want BLT to have home court advantage since we stay there often but I’m considering a cheaper contract to get 50% more points for the same price. It’s a hard decision.

Own BCV for Epcot & Poly for MK. Love them both.

Would love BWV for Epcot/HS (and thermostats that do what you want) and BLT for walk to MK. I transfer in points for both (2 memberships) though not as good as owning. I'm old so it's a big decision whether to add more.

You're right. That direct BLT price almost made me choke. Darn. They all really made me choke but BLT especially as I stay often and would love to own there too.

It is definitely a steep price but I love it so much there. I’m going to have to make the hard decision between home court advantage or more points and considering it’s not too terribly hard to get 1 BR at BLT at 7 months, if I got with a cheap contract, I can afford to stay 1BR vs studio if I buy there.

I currently have four contracts all at BWV and all with the same use year, this makes it easy for me to keep track of what I'm doing. LOL

BWV is our favor resort and pretty much the only resort my husband wants to stay at. That being said if I were to buy at two additional resorts it would probably be at VGF or BLT for easy access to MK and one of the resorts at WL for a Christmas season visit (I love this resort at Christmas).

I love AKL and SSR too, but you can still usually book them at 7 months.

Riviera looks great, but too much $$$ for me right now.

It sounds like most people replying pick ccv and bwv! Same as me! It's just the third that everyone picks differently
