and why?

My first choice would be Skagway Alaska, I know thats a funny thing to say but I lived there for 2 summers and it was so wonderful. I loved the homey feeling and feeling like I belonged there. www.skagway.org

Hawaii would be high on my list as well. Just being able to eat fresh pineapple day would be enough reason for me ;)

While I can't name a specific place, I would believe I would want to live somewhere in California where the climate is moderate and relatively close to lots of great things. Hawaii is beautiful, but I wouldn't want to be that removed from the rest of what the U.S. has to offer. And I wouldn't choose any other nation.

I just adored Ireland when I was there ten years ago. Slower pace of life, lovely people, great beer, so much green. I did not want to leave. However, I would never move further away from WDW!

I'll be happy to move into the "rumored" apartment in Cindy's Castle.

The gulf coast... most likely around Tampa or Clearwater... but definitely somewhere in the Gulf Coast area. I just love the beach & the ocean there... beautiful area :)

I like it right here. We get the 4 seasons, which is the single most important criteria in where I live. It's even being factored into my college choices. I also love how everyone knows everyone here. Sure it can be a pain in the butt to have everyone know my business, but at the same time, the people here really rally around you when something bad happens. Right now we've got 2 families in town dealing with some really tough stuff and it's amazing the support they've gotten from the town. And these are 2 families that weren't extremely well known either. The location of Auburn is perfect too. 20 minutes from the mall, the Monarchs (hockey), Fisher Cats (baseball), and everything else I could possibly want. 45 minutes to the beach and an hour to Boston.

I would love to live in a small town in Colorado. Maybe Boulder.

However, Alabama is a beautiful place and has a very low cost of living. I just hate the HOT Summers!

Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. It's claim-to-fame is that Clint Eastwood was once mayor of the quaint little town. It's on the Northern California coast with mostly cool temperatures & persistent fog.

Right where I live. Small community, no one knows or even cares about where I live. It is almost like you live in your own little world. But when you want to get into the city life, etc. just drive 3 hours and you are there.:D

Caati! Do you live in my town? No wait, I only have to drive 2 hours to get somewhere. Have lived many places, but eventually came back here. Wouldn't move unless I had to. On the other hand, I would make a great "snowbird!"

I would love to live by the ocean again, I hate being landlocked!

Although I love living in Florida, I've always wanted to go to Scotland. I don't know why, but I've always felt drawn there. In two years, I will be visiting there and we will see then how I feel about it.

1) Right here, right now. I'm a creature of habit.
2) Cape Cod.....where I'd like to retire.
3) Somewhere near WDW. I'd somehow adjust to the heat.

I'd like to retire in Hawaii--when I'm done traveling. It's too isolated for me to want to live there now. But when I'm old and can't go anywhere, I might as well be somewhere beautiful and warm.

Right now, I'd like to live in a city with a temperate climate like Seattle or San Francisco.

Well....If this was reality, right where I have always Lived -- Maine. I love growing up here, and this is where I want to live when I'm older, as well.

If I could like ANYWAY, Germany. I love the language, and whenever I see pictures of it, it's always beautiful...perhaps not Live there forever but defaintly for a few years. :D

Anywhere on Earth, hmmm.....lets see......

Maybe somewhere like Costa Rica, for the scenery and interesting wildlife, and beaches. The place has a cloud forest, rainforest, Quetzels......

Somewhere on the east coast. Far enough north to not be too hot, but far enough south to get away from horrid winters. Not too big. University nearby. Hopefully in seven years when my husband retires we will find such a place.

We have found our place on earth right here on Cape Cod
Our house has a real "homey" feel and we love the location.
We will be snowbirds around the Disney World area someday, but we will never sell our house here!

Somewhere on the East coast, preferably right where I am. The winters are not great, but this is home. I doubt I'd ever stray far. If I were to suddenly win the lottery, I'd buy a penthouse in New York overlooking Central Park, keep my house here in D.C. and perhaps buy a beach house in North or South Carolina, but since I don't foresee that happening anytime soon I'm happy here in D.C. :) I love to visit the West coast, Hawaii and Europe -- I actually lived in France and Italy for two years -- but my heart belongs to the U.S. and the east coast.
