where would it be? My sister and I will be down in WDW shortly after our 21st and, although strapped for cash, I would like to hear you opinions on where you can get the best beer/atmosphere.

Without question, Biergarten in EPCOT. Where else can you enjoy the world's best beer than in Germany:thumbsup2 They have several choices and sizes so you can fit it into your budget.

i guess I should have foreseen that answer. lol. :)

Any other thoughts?

A plain old Miller Lite sure tastes great when you drink it on the beach at the Polynesian or Wilderness Lodge while watching the MK's fireworks!! :lovestruc

The beer in Germany is good, but DH and his friend always end up hanging out in the Rose and Crown in England. You can hang out at the bar, ir get a small table next to the bar (in Germany it is just a walk up counter outside, not sure if there is another place there or not). They like the black and tan or the half and half. You could also get a beer sampler, or other beer combos to try. We just got back from WDW on Sat. and we spent a lot of time there with our friends while the kids went off on their own. And the bartenders are fun and nice to talk to with their english and irish accents.

Biergarten or Rose & Crown. Depends on your preference.

Give me a Black and Tan, Hold the Tan.

If you go to Hoop De Doo or Mickey's Backyard BBQ, beer is included in the price. May be at some of the other dinner shows, not sure.

While I love the setting, even that setting won't make a Miller Lite taste good!

I would go with Rose & Crown.

I  Kirin Beer. Japan serves it for $7.25. If I bought it at the local Ichiban it would cost $5 for a longneck. But now my Kroger has a pack of six longnecks for $7 (woohoo!).

Either Raglan Road or Rose and Crown so you can get that true European pub feel while having your pint.

Here's another 'Raglan Road or Rose & Crown' vote. The R&C for one beer, RR if more than one because they have barstools there.

It's hard to argue with any of these choices, so I won't, but there are no cheap beers in WDW. My personal favorite is Rose & Crown for Harp and Canada for Moosehead. I've had all the beer mentioned above, but Mexico is great for a Dos Equis too and Norway for Carlsberg and Italy for Peroni and .... well enough of that, I'm starting to drool........ Biergarden is definitely the best for atmosphere and they also have a great Hefeweizen there too

Easy answer: THE BIERGARTEN!!! The beer there is great. You might start out with splitting a beer flight to get a taste of each and then go in for the kill and order the humungous one!!

thanks for all the responses, ill have to think about this.

Dos Equis from Mexico in EPCOT is my favorite.

I think someone needs to stand up for Big River. It gets whacked around a lot here, but it's fresh, microbrew style beer, usually in a few interesting varieties.

I have to write down all the countries and the favorite beers from everyone on this thread because ME and DS21, graduating in May from Penn (about 9 years old in the picture), are going to do the beer walk around the worlds in June. How do we brake away from DW and DD19, what do we tell them we are going to do?
