If you could have a beer in only 1 location...

Anywhere that serves a Yuenling is good with me. (How is it that I cant get this beer that is from Pa in Ohio but can get it on tap at DW?)

OK, for the price of one beer, you could go to the gift shop in GF and get a 6 pack. Go to the outside table are and enjoy the fireworks a 3 beers each. In fact when the fireworks are over, you could walk down to the beach and see the water parade.

Because they now have a brewery in St. Pete or somewhere nearby. Which is great for our FL friends, and for me when I visit WDW, but doesn't help me much at home in new england.

Off topic, but my other favorite beer that I can't get at home is Steam Whistle from Toronto. Maybe our canadian friends want to send me a case? :-)

Isn't this like eating only 1 potatoe chip?

Here are my top 10 places in no particular order...

1) The Dawa Bar in the Animal Kingdom - It's outside, has good beer, performers come by and put on a show, plus the people watching is second to none.

2) California Grill - If I'm going to have a beer and watch Wishes, it'll be at the top of the Contemporary. Unfortunately, you have to then eat in the Cali Grill which may put a dent in your budget.

3) San Angel, Mexico - You'll have a hard time finding this type of atmosphere anywhere else.

4) Morocco - They have an excellent beer who's name escapes me. You can get it from an outside vendor.

5) Rose & Crown - Everyone's fav, tough to go wrong here. You can get your lonely beer to go and watch the Beatles or Off-Kilter if you like.

6) Japan - Get yourself a Kirin Ichiban and wander the gardens of Japan.

7) Germany - If the Rose & Crown is #1, this is #1A.

8) Mizner's Lounge, Grand Floridian - You may feel pressured to have a martini in this beautiful lounge, but a beer goes down nicely while the orchestra out front plays.

9) Raglan Road - It's everything people say it is. Consider it #1B.

10) When I started this list, I thought I might have to struggle to find 10 good places. Now that I'm 10, I realize it's hard to keep the list to 10 great places. So last, but not least, I'll recommend Big River. Great unique beer, one of the best burgers in WDW, and they keep the TV's tuned to whatever good sporting events are going on.

My top recommendation? Get more money and try 'em all!

I think someone needs to stand up for Big River. It gets whacked around a lot here, but it's fresh, microbrew style beer, usually in a few interesting varieties.

Yep. Their food is not very good, but who cares. Get a burger and the beer flight and you'll get along just fine.

DD, 21, said "just one"???? She suggested R&C, and says the bartenders are cute, too!!

Yeah, Big River is great, but the beer flight at Raglan Road is just as goodand the food is better. Hmmmmmmm decisions, decisions.

Thye best beer is the Dos Equis in Mexico, but the best atmosphere - by far - is the Rose & Crown. I could stay there all day. The bartender in Bill From PA's picture, whose name escapes me, is perhaps my favorite CM in all of WDW.

I think that the six packs are a bit more expensive that the price of one beer at EPCOT (about $7.50). If I recall correctly, a single imported beer at the resort markets is about $4 and the six pack about $12 for Budweiser. :scared1: That's why one needs a car to go off site for beer and wine purchases. ;)

That being said, I really enjoy a Bass or Guiness from Rose and Crown while watching IllumiNations. Just be careful of the flying ashes dropping into the cup when the wind is coming at you. :drinking1

I love the Moroccan beer at Tangeriene Cafe. It's fun to sit there and watch the Epcot crowd.:thumbsup2

We love the Morocco beer as well.........which is called Casa. It is the only beer in WS that we can't find back home. We usually have our fridge full with a nice selection including Dos Equis, Carlsburg, Kronenburg, Kirin, Tsing Tao, Peroni, Moosehead and a few others. :cool1:

Well actually I though there were 2 people each having a beer, thus would give you about $15 for the 6 pack. Thats why I said 3 beers each. 3 Beer x 2 people = 1 six pack.

Although, Spam the only place you will hear Nikki Sixx and have a beer will be Pleasure Island.

I would grab a Bass or Harp at Rose & Crown and with beer in hand venture over to the England courtyard and listen the the British Invasion (the Beatles group) perform!

My 2nd choice would be an evening visit to Raglan Rd.......the Smithwicks (sp?) is great!!!

Or walk backwards to Off Kilter. But Harp is definitely one of my favorites!

Some good suggestions have already been mentioned here. But I have two questions, before I can offer a Best Beer choice. Atmosphere I agree with Raglan Road, or the R&C pub, Biergarten can good also (I have mixed experiences there)

Ok the two questions - ok three. When will you be there? If it happens to fall during F&W your choices get quite expanded. (Disclaimer, the following is a question - not an assumption) If you were to drink a beer now, what would it be? The type of beer you like, can rule out some beers - or make a sugestion easier. Does it have to be in a park, or can it be a resort area? Big River Grille on the Boardwalk has some very nice choices, and usually have a seasonal brew.

We will be there in the middle of June. And actually my sister doesn't drink much beer, If I would have to pick I'd pick Killians or Woodchuck (although it is not so much a beer as hard cider). Id love to get a drink in Epcot!! And i don't know what she is talking about "1 beer" haha...

and I much more prefer liquor to beer! Although I like them both.
