..in one trip, would you do it?

I am a planner and like to get EVERYTHING done and not miss out on anything, if at all possible.

We've never been, and will probably never get to go back for another MNSSHP again.

I've read that some people like to go twice in a trip to enjoy everything without feeling rushed. Has anyone done this? Or, has anyone been that can give me advice on this thought?

TIA!!!

I wouldn't go twice in one trip - to me, it wouldn't be worth the extra money you'd have to spend (I'd much rather spend that extra $55 per person on something else!).

I think you can experience everything just going once. It's definitely fun!

I wouldn't do two in one trip. We did do two MVMCP's a few years ago and it was too much. The second party we ended up just hanging out which was fun but not worth the extra expense IMO.

i am going the first week it will be started and i will be going both times in that week. its great if you love mk and would like to get to do a majority of it less crowded. it reminds me of when you used to have to pay for the extra magic hours:thumbsup2

I enjoy MNNSHP alot but the 1 time is good enuf for me. It's kinda nice to just have the memory of the time you do it. If you do it again it's gonna feel like dejavu, and not for nothing, but it's not cheap do to what you just did. I do love it tho!

Definately not. Now, not having been before, maybe I'm wrong. We're going for the first time in Sept... I can't see spending that twice for a party in one week.
Also, I think that part of it is, that it's special and out of the ordinary. Going twice might make it a little less special to me.... like, "oh, we'll just do it on Thursday...or whatever". but, that's just me. :goodvibes

also, I definately don't need my 4 year old getting all that candy twice !!:rotfl2:

Absolutely! We did it a couple of years ago. I wanted to see all of the shows and the parade and the fireworks while still enjoying the rides and the atmosphere. It was no brainer for us. We bought two sets of tickets and will be doing the same for our upcoming trip (this time, MVMCP!)

I have gone twice and it was the best choice I could make. One night I wore a costume and focused on getting pics with all the characters. The second time, no costume, saw the shows, fireworks, and parade. I think it was worth it because I couldn't do it all in one night.

I went twice last year. It was nice to feel like I didn't have to rush to see everything the first party. However, I don't think I would do that again. THe second party didn't seem nearly as much fun as the first (for my girls or me) because we had just been a few days beforehand. And it is a long night for them. So two long nights was a bit much. I guess it depends on how badly you want to see everything at the party.

We went for the first time last October. We had pre-purchased tickets. Both our kids (7) and (4) lasted until after midnight. We all loved it so much my husband ran out to purchase tickets another night during our trip. It is a must do for us :thumbsup2

We went to one Halloween party the day we arrived at Disney last year, with the plan of enjoying another one later in the week. Thank goodness I hadn't bought the tickets early, because by the end of the week, no one wanted to attend another one. Everyone was tired, and just wanted to hang around the villa and EPCOT since we were staying at BWV.

Are you FOLLOWING me?!?!?!? :)

I don't think you need two Halloween parties. They're a lot of fun - but the ONLY difference between them and any other night at the Magic Kingdom are the trick or treating, the parade, the fireworks and the theatrical lighting of the park.

The rides are different after dark, but you can CERTAINLY go to the Magic Kingdom on a non-party night and enjoy them then.

The other stuff, I think you can do in one night.

It's just too expensive for us to go twice.

Wow, we must be in the minority. We purchased tickets for 3 parties in Oct. DH and I have been doing 2 MVMCP for the past couple of trips because we ran out of time to do everything. Because we haven't done MNSSHP, we decided to do 3 nights. However, we are not doing as much MK time as we would have normally (frees up time to spend at F&W) I think it's up to each individual and what your plans and budget are.

I am going 2 times this next trip. I go every year for MNSSHP. It is a great time to get alot of MK rides in without much of a wait. I plan on 1 party for rides and 1 party for character interaction and Trick or Treating. It is hard to get everything done in 1 party if you want to wait for characters.

We went to 2 on our last family trip. The first night we focused more on the parade and fireworks, the second night we focused more on character meets. Both nights we rode tons of rides and trick or treated. If we go back in October again, I'd totally do MNSSHP twice again.

We are hoping to go twice this fall. We went once last year and we didn't even get to see the parade! Our kids were 2 and 6, and they did a little ToT, had pics with Snow White and the 7 Dwarves, saw Hallowishes and danced a little with Stitch and Goofy at one of the dance parties.

This fall will be the last year that we will be taking our kids out of school for WDW and I don't want to take any chances. We loved MNSSHP (what we did of it) and I would like to get the chance to do it twice this year.

I have to go twice this year!!! (Poor me!) :goodvibes Me and DS are going to WDW for four days, then DS is flying home, and DH is joining me for four days for the Food & Wine Fest. Both want to go to the MNSSHP, so I'm going to be forced to go two times. Guess there could be worse things. :)

Have done two each of last three trips, and doing two again this year. One of the best part of our trip.:thumbsup2
