If you could give one piece of advice....

Oh, I love that one!!
watch the parades from frontier land... so much easier to get a good "seat"

Get to Toontown BEFORE it opens.. around 9:45 ish.. the characters come right to the ropes and take children by the hand who are waiting there and walk them into the Judge's Tent. Goofy even takes the first ride of the day on Barnstormer with one lucky kid! If you want to hedge your bets on that one, make sure you are at the rope nearest to the Barnstormer.. which means the path that leads into Toontown directly from the Teacups. If you want to have mickey hold your hand.. stand at the rope right near his house.. which means either take the train there or the secret path from Tomorrowland which is right next to Space Mountain.

And of course dont be shy about coming on here and asking questions, questions, questions!! :thumbsup2

go in the off season. low crowds, good weather. makes all the difference in the world.

If you have children let them wake up on their own in the mornings.
Bring breakfast snacks with you for your room, pop-tarts-ceral bars-banana's.

OOPS! That's 2 but they kind of go together.
This way you do not start your day in a rush, nice and calm mornings make a world of difference.

Sorry to break the thread and change the subject a bit, but it is obvious I must get a dolewhip on my trip in June. Where do I get these wonderful things and what are they?

Take your time and enjoy yourselves. You don't want to come home from the vacation more tired than when you left. Pick the rides that you HAVE to ride, get them done and don't stress about the rest.

Accept the facts that there will be queues, there will be lots of people - you cant always do everything and there will always be somebody pushing infront of you....none of this matters - you will have a great time.Remember this and you will,

Lynn :cool1:

Go to the parks right when they open and maximize use of Fastpasses. (yeah, that's two...I cheated. Sorry.)

Budget money for extras, nothing can dull the excitement more than "should of, could of, and would of." But don't buy it the first time you see it.

Remember that CM are people too... a mistake made on vacation is 1000's of times better than one made at home. ;) (so don't sweat the small stuff)

Hi, Be sure to sit on a bench in each park and enjoy an icecream! :mickeybar

I took a trip in 1991. Wonderful time (honeymoon) with one exception. I wish I had taken more photo's.

In 2002 I returned to WDW and took lots and lots of photo's and I am so glad I did - or course, digital makes it so much easier now to shoot and then choose to keep or delete.

And if you are with a group/family - gets lots of family shots.

Take pictures of your food then post it on the food board...okay selfish I know lol. I love that thread!!!!

Break your diet!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

Have a plan, but work extra time in for spontaneity. I was glad I didn't pack everything so close together-that way, if the kids wanted to ride Pooh twice that's just what we did. Oh, and have FUN!
